Just a couple of suggestions, firstly the innocent:
Certainly where I'm from, I know my postcode (zip code) gives sat nav users some hassle. Even after 3 years, people have driven to a field a few
miles out of town. The estate actually has 2 codes and both will pin point you to somewhere random on a satnav and not the estate itself, perhaps this
could be a massive sat nav error? One delivery driver, using my postcode, ended up in a town about 45 minutes away - but I presume that was his own
fault for typing in something incorrectly, because he should've at least ended up in the nearby field
The less innocent is a warning - it could be a well thought out burglary attempt. Your property, or someone elses - your actions and other peoples
actions could be being watched, to get an idea of movements in the area. I'm only saying this because the other day I noticed a man walk past a shop
about 5 times, then he went in, and stole some stuff. I realized he'd been watching the one supervisor, who would ocassionally pop to the warehouse -
so he picked his oppurtune moment (sadly as I was reporting it he was walking out the door).
So just be careful. A pimped out white van with no signage does not sound like a legitimate business vehicle, but I don't know how things work in
America. Certainly in the UK it would be considered pretty unusual. If it shows up again - go and be forward. Tell them you're suspicious about them
and you've already filed a report. Even if they really are innocent at least you'll have the upper hand and they'll think twice about returning.
Also if they're completely innocent they should understand your concern and have no problem with it. Any other reaction IMO would mean they probably
are up to something dodgy.
Hope you get some answers!
