Wow this is somthing! Who would have thought the riches were right beneath your feet as your on your way to collect your Benefit payment or pension, or waiting for that bus or train to take you to your mundayne 9 to 5 job everyday?

This is from Penn and Tellers new show: Penn and Teller Tell a Lie. A show in which 6 stories are presented and one is a lie. This clip, crazy enough, is 100 percent factual!

Enjoy

Holy cow!

I'm finding my nearest jewelry shop and doing this!

What an innovative idea to make some cash!

I'm shocked by the amount of money this guy can make on just 1 day!

Very entertaining post!

Watch it quickly become illegal after people start doing it in a few cities.

Even something this harmless will be dealt with, and a law constructed against, because nothing is free.

Brilliant, though.

I agree its a great idea, but you need good eyes to do this

Another way for finding great stuff is with a metal detector.
But you do need good spots to search like beaches, parks etc

It's a great hobby!

I have done something just like that but not in any city.

I live in Calif the golden state and have worked in the gold mining business for 45 years.

Many gold mine had mills to process there ore and if you know how the foundation of these old gold mills can have more gold then this guy will ever find on the streets of NY.

And in most cases this gold is missed by the guys with metal detectors because of all the re-bar used in these old foundations blocking the signals.

Another problem is because mercury was used in many mine mills the gold no longer looks like gold it will now be a silver color
I will not give away all my tricks in finding all this gold at old mines because i want the best to still be there for me.
And there are some real tricks using water and other things to find where the gold moves around a building foundation.

I one time recovered over 22 ounces of gold from a old mill building and the old mill equipment in two days.

The only problem was gold was only $180 a ounce back then.

That's exacty what's going to happen.

But firs they'll start harassing these people for the taxes they owe.

Then they'll demand they have a license to practice this trade.

Then, if there's anybody left doing it, it will be made illegal.

And people look to the government to create jobs? lol.

hahah that's awesome gold star for that guy pun untended! He need not worry about others moving in on him the vast majority of people are too lazy to take action on anything outside the norm. There is an area like that in LA too.

Living with mom and dad and sweeping the dirty streets of Manhattan. What's not to love?

Side note: Penn and Teller are neoconservative big-shots who not only believe 9-11 happened JUST the way the Official Story reads but, they feel anyone who believes in extraterrestrials/ UFOs are nuts. So I personally have no appreciation for them or their show(s).

May need a miners licence (licence= permission to do something illegal) in some states.
Tax is only for income and or profit.
Laboure and or time can be exchanged for equal value therefore cannot be taxed.
Gold is property and cannot be taxed just like land cannot be taxed OTHER WISE YOU WOULD HAVE SOME DIRT TAKEN AWAY; it’s the fait dollars that is taxed.
God told us to only use just weights and measures.
Lets say you farm apples and its tax time, how about you take 10% of the crop and deliver to the tax office, will they except them? I would say they would not, therefore your income and propfit is really what they want a peice of, not your living/surviving. So remeber tax is not for laboure, time, equal exchange OR property.

The dumbest thing this guy has ever done was telling people what he was doing.

Before running to your local jewelry district to do this, also consider how much money people in NYC have. This might not work in New Orleans.
