Or.....you could read all of the other contributions in this thread that explain how there is no "huge UFO next to Mercury", in reality.

Applying a little common sense and rational thought is usually a good first step. Because, then, when an actual real "Amazing" event and observation occurs, there will be no doubt, and no prosaic explanations, such as seen in this instance.

First i want to highlight the ongoing importance of this forum to the world...and is significance on breaking stories from all kinds of topics.

This forum haves an special importance on ufo and alien matters, that nowadays, are more than ever linked to peoples mind's... i think in certain matter, that right in the middle of this economic confusion and doom world news, people are eager for a kind of rescue or contact with other and more advanced species, to help us.

The fact that they are trying to explain it away, makes me highly suspicious. If it's nothing, why go through the trouble? And if it's a regular occurrence, then why has no one seen it before? Something is up. Just a gut feeling.

What are the odds that the supposed cloaked craft would be located precisely between the planet and the sun and direction of origin for the solar flare?

This is more than likely an "eddy" or compacted solar flare as it impacted the planet and began to work its way around it.

This is amazing! I wonder why there would be an object hanging out around mercury... for what purpose?.. Maybe some sort of gas that caught a reflection? Awesome find!

Phage, I am not sure if anybody has done this lately, but thank you for your input. I always look forward to seeing you posts in highly skeptical situations such as this.

I will admit, I wanted this one to be something. And even tho I have read all of your links on this as well as outside ats info on the matter, All signs point to it is an image artifact. But darn it, there is just an odd vibe to this one!

Honestly, with all the scientific disproof, ufo fakers, nut jobs, lens flares, pix from the 70's handed down by my dads friends bosses niece's best friend, and many other illegitimate claims: A real 'outer world being' or ship could fly right in front of us and it would somehow get debunked.

Im not attacking you Phage, just expressing a point. That there is no point anymore. People are just going to have to believe what they want to belive. I honestly get tired of trying sometimes.

I have absolutely no scientific background whatsoever, but I keep staring at the part of the video where he has it looping over and over. If the Official explanation is a software compensation for mercury's location from the previous day; then why is the shape of the object consistent? and more importantly why is the speed of the object slower than the speed of the planet? Watch mercury's speed in the loop, it is perfectly consistent. The object fades in. Brightens, and fades out not only retaining the same shape... but also moving at a slower speed. Not a "ghost" of where mercury was the previous day. Any explanations to my observations would be appreciated.
