Hell was originally designed for Satan and his crew.

Matt 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they will be tormented there day and night forever and ever.

Can we say that hell is reserved for others in the human community?

Matt 13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Rev 20:11 Then I saw a large white throne and the one who was seated on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. Then books were opened, and another book was opened – the book of life. So the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each one was judged according to his deeds. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death – the lake of fire.15 If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, that person was thrown into the lake of fire. 21:8 But to the cowards, unbelievers, detestable persons, murderers, the sexually immoral, and those who practice magic spells, idol worshipers, and all those who lie, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. That is the second death.”

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

During the 1000 years, those who died in Christ will be raised first. Raised to what? New life. Jesus said, “You must be born again.” This is the process. When the earth is renewed and the dead in Christ are raised first to rule with Christ, the others who are raised will be living under the rule and authority of Christ. If they reject him at the end of this last day of the lord, they are banished to hell with Satan when he is loosed again at the end of that day. This is the final judgment; the last chance at life. Why? Faith is now fact and there is no excuse.

We also consider those who reject Christ willingly before the first resurrection:

John 3:16 For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 36 The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.

What happens to those who do not hear or live a good, well-intentioned life apart from the saving knowledge?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Matt 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

It is my view that Jesus taught the process. “You must be born again.” This is the literal judgment of the person at death, followed by the soul living another life. The person lives once, the soul cannot die. We continue to live and experience the story until we reach the moment of decision. We wait for the second coming of Jesus in His return to salvation for his bride. We wait.

Those who would say that we live once have Hebrews 9:27 to claim. Apart form verse 28 this might be true. Read 28 and another story emerges. The final judgment requires previous judgments. Read the entire set of verses:

Hebrews 9 27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Where do we wait?

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Water is the baptism in the material world. Spirit is the union with God when love for God is found. If we willingly choose to reject God’s love for us, we are banished to the second death that comes at the final judgment. God is long-suffering. To be born again, we need only love God to find union into the spirit and kingdom of God. All unions happen in an environment of love and respect. We await the union and consummation of soul and spirit.

Rev 7 Let us rejoice and be glad
and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen, bright and clean,
was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
9 Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
10 At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”

According to the Jubilee Laws , if we have not become a bondservant to Christ, we are a servant of Satan and Sin. We are slaves in three ways: We are slaves to the law first. We are then slaves to our debt to the law from justice. We are slaves to our master if we are redeemed from our debt. If we are not redeemed form our debt, we are judged by our debts and lose our right to the land.

Why is heaven and hell a mystery and why do we suffer the mystery in a search? The answer to this is duplicity.

If we seek God for reward, we seek for the reward and not God. If we seek God to avoid judgment, we are seeking our own self-interests. To seek God in truth, we are required to seek Him apart from our own selfish pride. Humility is required. Living life allows God's consuming fire to convict us of our own pride. This is the flaming sword mentioned in Genesis 3 that protects the tree of life. We must love God for the good of life and the betterment of the many. Good is its own reward. Seeking from duplicity will not reveal love. Only humility before God in love for Him and his people will allow union to eternal life.

Light and darkness are separated as an act of love for those who love others. Jesus will seek everyone out from this truth.

Luke 15:6 ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Turn from Sin and face God. This is the way out of hell and judgement. Love God!

I believe Hell is full of humans deepest and darkest thoughts. And I would like to think that the evil wouldn't end up there. It would be their paradise. I say surround them with rainbows and bunny rabbits and see how they enjoy that.

Who's God?

There is one easily understood answer to this. We are governed by law. This is obvious. Knowing this reveals a simple truth: We are in bondage to what governs us. There is a law that is seen clearly. There is also a way to break the law and the results of this are also clear. Smoke and you get cancer. This is taking a reward apart from earning the reward. Suffer a college degree and you get a job. This is earning reward by suffering first. Either way, we suffer by the laws that govern what we earn or take by law. If we break the law and take reward first, a debt is created. Why God?

We are in bondage to law. This reveals the one governing the law. We either master the law or it masters us. If I play an instrument, the music masters me if I do not know and follow the rules of theory. Until I practice the scales and make use of what I learn, the music masters me and my performance is flawed. Not only is this my job as a musician, but I must recognize the notes of the composer and the direction of the conductor. If I choose my own path, there is no harmony with the other performers.

One God is obvious if laws are present. The score is easily seen.

Romans 1

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Nothing that is moved is apart from the fixed thing causing the motion. God is the fixed foundation for laws to be present. The clearest source for this information is in the Bible. The truth is unified in the pages of scripture. Can we see this from Buddha?

Chapter 1 - Choices

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with an impure mind
And trouble will follow you

As the wheel follows the ox that draws the cart.

*****(John 3 "you must be born again." the wheel follows the cart. you are the ox pulling the burden of life.)

We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.
Speak or act with a pure mind
And happiness will follow you
As your shadow, unshakable.
"Look how he abused me and hurt me,
How he threw me down and robbed me."
Live with such thoughts and you live in hate.
"Look how he abused me and hurt me,
How he threw me down and robbed me."
Abandon such thoughts, and live in love.
In this world
Hate never yet dispelled hate.
Only love dispels hate.
This is the law,
Ancient and inexhaustible.

You are!

We all are God!
We are just different facets experiencing all we want to.
Someday we may become bored with this interface and find something new.
But, those books we invented worked awesome, it sure allowed us to see some epic turmoil.

Read my post above.

Buddhism is a philosophy, not a religion. It is a representation of the way. The Easter way is the Eight Fold Path and the four noble truths. There is great value in the way, as there is great value in the truth of philosophy. We examine all things and cling to what is good.

Philosophy is a study of virtue and truth.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but by me."

Life is not found in Buddha. Christ is the life; the final answer to truth--LOVE.

As another post suggests, we are all part of the one God. This makes us a separation of God's consciousness (Spirit) as a gift of autonomy from God. God chooses to separate the darkness from the light. We must do the same to keep our connection to choice and the liberty of freedom. The one observer requires other observers to see. We require God to see.

This is comparable to our own artificial consciousness in virtual computer reality. We have developed this from our consciousness, making the computer part of us in an image. This does not make the image us, only a unique creation reflecting us. God is the same. We are images of God.

Philosophy is the love of wisdom. Knowledge is the expression of what we know. Wisdom is how we use what we know. Intelligence divides the light from the darkness by virtue of the laws that are observed. Knowledge apart from wisdom is information apart from the proper use of it by law. A debt is created when we use knowledge for evil and not good. This is taking. Religion gives.

James 1:27

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

The bible has always baffled me, even with having a father as a priest, and mother as an ordain. I would ask them what I am about to ask here, but they are so deep now they refuse to help anyone not part of their own church. Including family. 6 years ago they decided that all the other churches had it wrong, so my father purchased a church, and today they have close to 400 followers. I just wanted to tell you that so you know a bit about how I was raised. I've also come to the conclusion that they are the reason why I hate most religions, but I do try to keep my mind open and to listen when they or whatever religion preaches to me.. It's hard and even after around 10 years of research I'm still just as confused.

So here's my question.

"The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him. "

"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. "

This is what I get from that. Let's say from birth I was told about how much of a lie God is. Then the day comes when I get judged. What would happen?

Would my brain be unwashed and I would see the truth then be let into Heaven? Or would I go to Hell for believing what I did when I was alive?

Wouldn't this be for about everyone? Because no one will know for sure till they are told on that day. So why would anyone go to Hell?

I do hope you don't take offence to this, as I am very neutral when it comes to religion.

Thou shalt not judge me

I don't judge you. The subject may. I am the object delivering the subject. I am equally judged by the subject. We all are. None of us can escape sin. This is the point of the process of discovery. We are all in bondage to law and sin until we find redemption from the debt. Christ offers it freely. We must love God and others as the products of faith. Apart from works, faith is dead. True faith is revealed from the changed heart and the expression of love toward others. Repentance is a change of direction and perspective. Love exchanged for hate. Courage enchanted for fear. Pride exchanged for humility. Chastity exchanged for lust. Grief exchanged for rejoicing and joy. Turmoil exchanged for peace. I could keep going. It's all moving opposites by degree. We move toward the light or toward the darkness by choice. We have the choice to face the light and embrace the truth it brings. Know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Bondage no more.

Embracing the consuming fire and the flaming sword hurts. We see ourselves in the reflection. Overcome the blemishes in the mirror and we see clearly with joy and peace. It starts with faith and hope and ends in love. God is good.

Galatians 3

23 Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

We cannot escape sin and error here in this reality. We are here as a witness only. This is comparable to what Confucius said, "I hear and I forget. I see and I learn. I do and I understand." We will never find a color here in the image of the rainbow that we agree with totally. This is discovery and the process of doing. My personal feeling is that this verse below holds for us, even after we pass from this reality, then final answer.

Romans 10:13
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Consciousness does not end at death. The person dies and will be judged. Calling on the name of the LORD may very well be revealed in us when we die. I can't answer this as it is still a mystery. Many NDE witnesses have stated that they prayed in the spirit and received the light. If we willingly reject God here, I can't answer this for later after death.

We both know that there are plenty of people who openly mock God here. This is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and unforgivable sin. Love covers a multitude of sin. What comes between these two extremes is only judged by God.

Light comes in all colors and we all experience it differently. True religion is serving others in love and kindness. It is expressing unmerited favor (Grace) to others freely as an expression of God's love to us. We are judged on this when the books are opened. As for salvation, we live by faith or are separated by our own choice. Many people choose to openly reject God. Many choose to openly embrace truth. There are many in the middle as well.

Romans 10:13
for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Does the offer ever end?

Yes. Galatians 11:11

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.

More than a man, yet our kinsmen. Jubilee laws require this connection to the one redeeming you. It is the ultimate search for the land we wish to return to. Just like Galactica. It's a battle against evil to return.

I am still confused. Could you cut that down into very simple terms for me?

Also.. How can we not escape our sins and errors?

"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you, because he does not wish for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. "

Like with my earlier scenario, what if the sin and errors were thought to be good and correct when the person was alive? Only after death did he realize the truth, and for being brainwashed all his life he has to spend eternity in Hell for it?
