UFO in Southern California 12/02/11

Fortunately, there are sites which are not interested in investigating UFO reports, videos, images, and hoaxes. They'll just take any "report" at face value.

Fortunately, ATS is not one of them.

Wow this place is brutal. Sounds like half the people here are hearing me say I saw an extraordinary extraterestrial event. Some are willing to help.

When I said I had enough time to take this pic, I had only intended on posted 1 pic. Pick me apart all you want. That's fine.

I was amazed by what I saw at the time. Christ people. It's all good. Just sharing what I saw. If you don't like it, fine. If you like it, that's fine as well.

Just got back from shopping with my kids and uploading daytime pics now. Give me like 5 minutes if that's ok.

Thanks for posting. I have never seen anything out of the ordinary in the sky myself. I still keep looking tho. Was there any sounds connected to your observation?

Thanks for the kind words and understanding that sometimes there is a sun and civilization to be seen other than a computer screen. Haha, sometimes I do need to be reminded of that myself.

Didn't notice any sounds other than regular traffic driving down my street.

OP --

Can you give us a sense of direction here. I used to live in SoCal and I can roughly guess where you are looking out towards but that is also important information

-- Please note, I am not asking for identifying information, just general direction of the picture.

From your night time to your day time photo though -- the inner skeptic thinks you zoomed into the street lamp on the (lower center; I didn't scroll the picture) of the day time photo. That is one possibility and will remain one given the limited photo evidence for me.

There are though other possibilities such as: Aircraft, blimp and the unidentified.

My suggestion though -- and I rarely delve into the UFO side of ATS -- is keep it as objective and as non-sensational as possible. Present what you saw. Expect questioning to occur, that is normal and have a little bit of tough skin.

I see there are latitude and longitude on the information. THAT is what I have been hearing on stalking techniques. Sorry, I had to draw attention to it so people can tell their kids how easy it is to find them.

Now, on topic, thats pretty cool info on cell phone pics. Still waiting for the pros to determine what exactly, we are seeing.

Lay off the moonshine. You photographed an airplane and it was blurred through the magic of photography. Your image is not at all consistent with the other sightings...

It's shape is very much of an airplane. The exposure gave it the illusion of a UFO shape. The colors of lights are very consistent with an airplane. Sorry...Lame...Lame...lame lame...

The only way I'd believe this as a possibility is if you could find credible media or other local people had the same experience.

Still waiting for you the observer to say where this sighting occurred,and in what direction you were looking and what time. These are just some of the basics a person does give when making a report.
