If Newt is the nominee for the GOP I guess I will have to write in Ron Paul in the general election because I will not vote for that petulant gas bag or Obama either one.

All of the deciding votes feel exactly like this!

There are all the Obama worshippers and all the mainstream GOPers that will vote their party no matter what and they will be evenly split with a slight advantage to Obama.

Then, there are all the deciding votest that do not want to vote for Obama, but can't trust the mainstream GOP nominees. They will either not vote, right in Ron Paul, or vote for a 3rd party.

The GOP better recognize this fact right now or they are conceding the election.

Romney or Newt are not going to be president. I'll bet my shorts on it. They might get the nomination, but they aren't going to get support from all 3 places they need. They won't get the disenfranchised Dems. They won't get the Independents and 3rd party types, and they won't get the Far Right Conservatives.

Romney is too pretty and untrustworthy. He forgot his own first name for God's sake. He jumped on the bandwagon with Wolf Blitzer and he claimed "Mitt" was his "real first name" as well. But he LIED! He will do or say anything to get some laughs and support. He is a pretty and polished politician. He can't beat Obama.

Newt is a typical entrenched politician. He won't get any votes from those 3 groups either. Dems can't jump ship all the way to Newt. Independents can't trust him, the Far Right might buy into his recent platforms (copied from Ron Paul), but they are also the religious crowd that probably can't forgive his indiscretions. He can't beat Obama.

Bachmann had a chance, but she faded out very early. Huntsman had a chance, but he doesn't have the war chest of campaign funds. Santorum is a great guy, but he won't get the nod.

It is Ron Paul, or Obama at inaugeration time in January 2013. Those are the only choices unless some dark horse (Palin?) jumps in at the last second.

I think everything will become clear in January 2012.

The despair in Europe will send Obama out to hide on the golf course. Time will tell.

Jumping on the bandwagon eh?

There was the CAIN TRAIN in between Newt and Palin...keep up on your Eurisko!

I find him a good indicator of which candidate is soon to be doomed

Just like Cain, it is my opinion that Gingrich will fall to his own past actions, it may take a few weeks to a month for him to fall in the polls or even more than a month but I don't think Gingrich will win Iowa nor will he win NH, if Cain endorses Newt, he'll see a sharp spike in the coming weeks but I still don't think its enough for him to take NH and Iowa.

A media induced poll spike doesn't mean full and committed support, it is just people sharing their views reflecting what the media has told them. And we all know the media is telling us something different all the time.

Bachmann, Perry, Cain have all risen and fallen, Gingrich will follow the same path in my opinion. It will still come down to Romney and Paul.

I hear what you're saying, but I have many acquintances that have always been staunch conservatives who are looking very seriously at Ron Paul simply because he is the only one saying things of substance.

He has also proven himself the most truly conservative of the entire lot.

Can't believe nobody posted yet, but Cain is out! He is expected to endorse Newt for the nomination. I hope his followers are smarter than that and jump on to the Paul bandwagon.

I am sorry, but Newt cannot win the independent vote en masse, and since they decide all two party elections in this country, theirs is the only opinion which actually matters.

Hermancainforums.com admin endorsed Ron Paul.

But their site isn't heavily populated anyways.

I put up a thread about how I feel about the whole thing in light of today's news.

GOP was rigged from the start.

Herman Cain did endorse Paul at one debate, but he was also becoming very close to Newt, and I'm thinking there is a cabinet position for his endorsement.

If you are going to make one line statements let alone such an accusation then provide sources next time. Or is this just a failed attempt at humor or perhaps trolling?

Really? I can't see Cain doing that especially after his Piers Morgan Tonight CNN interview where he basically implied that Ron Paul was the least electable candidate in the GOP and Cain would never endorse him.

And to stay on topic. Of course Newt declared himself the nominee, they probably told him so at Bohemian Grove in 1995, Bilderberg in 2004 or one of the various CFR meetings.

www.sonic.net...

He even had the audacity to lie about not being a member of the Bohemian Grove, he was photographed there for goodness sakes.

So Cain gets the taint of maybe treating women badly and cheating on his wife so his support goes to Gingrich who treats women badly and cheated on two of his wives.

I happen to think his support is waning more because this sex scandal stuff came up at the same time as he went on appearance after appearance and made it clear that he had NO IDEA what he was talking about. At least Newt seems like he knows some stuff to people I guess.
