I'll put $5 down for layaway.

Can you imagine how much gas that thing eats, and then you've got the awesome task of arming it with munitions... after you've emptied your garage... and cut a hole in the door.

I'll take two.

My husband would so love that, he used to be a tanky, but now he’s in aviation.
He drives our car like a tank; he thinks it can pivot just like one.

I’ve been telling him for ages I want a bushmaster decked out like a caravan/campervan.

Depends on how efficient you are. Personally, I'd use it to park anywhere I wanted without the fear of having it towed. Of course there is the hilarity of dropping it off for valet parking.

Of course, why have a landlocked tank, when you can be stealing booty and chasing Keira Knightley around in your very own PIRATE SHIP?!
I can almost afford it too. Just $749,995.00 left to go.

I have heard that Russia is known for selling old military surplus Vehicles. Maybe look into that, if you are really wanting to buy a tank....

Good luck getting it through customs though.

Some pretty reasonable prices. Main battle tanks from $60,000.

Some newer stuff too. There was an Iraq War tank from 2003 that sold.

This is why I laugh when hoplophobes drag out nonsense like "do you think people should be able to own tanks and nukes and jets and blah blah blargh spit foam"

For starters they already can and do. And these things are all so damn cost prohibitive to own not to mention fuel, maintain and arm that widespread or common ownership simply would not happen.

Remember that kid who got the jet from the Pepsi points? The taxes alone threatened to bankrupt his family.
