Personal experience with a UFO in Tacoma Washington in the mid 1960's

As a child I had an odd experience while living in Tacoma Washington. Does anyone know of any studies or reports of UFO activity in this area in the mid to late 1960's?

Hey, I live around there. I can tell you that Washington is where the whole "flying saucer" craze began in 1947. You can read more about that here:

Anyway, I am not aware of the Tacoma area ever being particularly prone to UFO encouters, having researched the phenomenon more thoroughly than most. But I am not sure. I do know an alien base is thought by some to exist beneath indian reservations in Yakima, which you can learn about here:
