OP and the blocking of posts

Now it has come to my concern that many posters are having there information blocked. This is an open forum and if someone makes a comment they should be able to make it freely.

The people of ATS are very mature compared to those of other forums, i think they know how to do with these posts and are free to disagree or make a respectable comment.

Now i can understand if a mod makes a footnote on why the information is bad but to completely exclude it; no are freedoms of speech should be supported, especially on this website.

What do you mean? when a post is removed and a banner put in its place like "OFF TOPIC POST" or "EXTREME T&C VIOLATION" ?

Thats the way it should be. Its not entirely "free"...we have moderation...by moderators. And you and everyone here agreed to the terms when you joined. Its a good thing we have mods too. And Simon and others OWN it. So there!!
YOU agreed to the terms too....so dont complain.

Usually posts are only removed for t&c when it is sure to start/fuel a fight real quick, or it is written to intentionally hurt/anger someone... maybe it seems like the post is necessary to make your point and you're just responding to someone else's attempt at trolling or something, but it's usually for the best that it's removed if it violates t&c because ATS is not ALWAYS the perfect picture of maturity, and things do sometimes get personal and ugly and it ruins the flow and feeling of the discussion.

Every now and then things are removed for questionable reason but the mods are human too and everything is objective. I think things are generally pretty fair.

Perhaps to be a bit more specific, if anyone has gone over the top, I have, and with good reason, to date, I can vouch for ATS mods, all be it, I have been sanctioned on three occasions, and when one considered, or fully understood, what was being said and why, I have no beef with ATS and its Mandate of DENY IGNORANCE, I think all considered I made the correct chose to outline my DATA on a unbiased site for reaching the populaces at large, and seeking there inquiry

So as they say S&F to ATS
