For decades, Democrats have suffered continuous and increasingly severe losses among white voters. But preparations by Democratic operatives for
the 2012 election make it clear for the first time that the party will explicitly abandon the white working class.
All pretense of trying to win a majority of the white working class has been effectively jettisoned in favor of cementing a center-left coalition made
up, on the one hand, of voters who have gotten ahead on the basis of educational attainment — professors, artists, designers, editors, human
resources managers, lawyers, librarians, social workers, teachers and therapists — and a second, substantial constituency of lower-income voters who
are disproportionately African-American and Hispanic.
It is instructive to trace the evolution of a political strategy based on securing this coalition in the writings and comments, over time, of such
Democratic analysts as Stanley Greenberg and Ruy Teixeira. Both men were initially determined to win back the white working-class majority, but both
currently advocate a revised Democratic alliance in which whites without college degrees are effectively replaced by well-educated socially liberal
whites in alliance with the growing ranks of less affluent minority voters, especially Hispanics.
This is a not an unexpected announcement by any means, the Democratic Party has been heading in this direction since the late 1960s as the New Left,
created by the “father of the new left” of Frankfurt School (admittedly Culturally Marxist) Herbert Marcuse, has taken over. What was the
intention of the Frankfurt School? Since the proletariat failed to raise up against the bourgeois in WWI the Marxists were puzzled, however this group
of Marxists began to apply Freudian theory to Marxism and came to the conclusion that a trait exhibited by the proletariat which keeps them from
rising up is the authoritarian personality.
The authoritarian personality is cultivated at a young age stemming from the traditional nuclear family where the father plays the role of the
authority figure requiring obedience and enforcing discipline. From this nurture arrangement men grow up to accept the authority of the bourgeois who
rule over them and thus are unwilling to fight against whom the Marxists claimed were their true enemy. So the Frankfurt School set out to correct
this problem by finding a new proletariat, abandoning the white poor and working class in favor of new groups.
By the 1950s many sociology professors were strong adherents to the works of men from the Frankfurt School, and using this relatively new education
department which was vastly expanding they began to apply critical theory in the classroom, training a new generation of students. These students
became the members of the Students for a Democratic Society and the other groups prevalent among the Left in the 1960s protests. This is the reason
why it became known as the ‘Counter-culture movement’ because these were students that had first been exposed to the works of the Frankfurt
School.
What were the Frankfurt School’s intentions, you may ask? It was to establish the new proletariat; they envisioned one composed of rebellious youth,
educated intelligentsia, racial/religious/sexual minorities, and newly arrived immigrants. The critical theory was even the basis from which the
minority studies began. The way they could go about creating this new rebellious youth was to crush the sacredness of the nuclear family, this not
only provided them with a new proletariat bloc but also crippled the authoritarian personality from developing.
Next stage was the abolition of religion from importance, because religion was to be observed as a socially and sexually repressive mechanism used by
the bourgeois to stifle the free expression of the proletariat and keep them enslaved to their capitalist system. They combined this with moral
relativism to justify the importation of their other envisioned proletariat bloc, immigrants/minorities. And finally it would become the culture
enforced by the state.
“Liberating tolerance, then, would mean intolerance against movements from the Right, and toleration of movements from the Left.” –
Herbert Marcuse
The universities are used as breeding grounds for Marcusian logic as he, along with his cohorts, were the inventers of political correctness. In
universities they have something called ‘speech codes’, which have never been halted by the Supreme Court, which takes the typical social
condemnation associated with the PC bunch and makes it the official enforceable rules. In many instances academic freedom has been suppressed along
with freedom of speech, due process of law has been denied (for public institutions), and have violated guarantees of fairness in the student or
faculty member’s contract. This is not to say that sometimes the school should ban things, such as harassment, but the schools can use them to
clearly violate your rights or suppress independent thought.
Why is what I mentioned above at all important? Obama and the Democrats are now fulfilling what the Frankfurt School sought after. The consolidation
of the proletariat formed by immigrants, racial minorities, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, rebellious youth, single parents,
environmentalists, secularists/atheists, and college educated intelligentsia. Do not be mistaken though, the Neoconservatives who control the right
are also intellectual descendants of 1950s educated sociologists. We have the controlled opposition, known as Republicans. They pursue Marxism
culturally and at the same time run this faux-capitalist system as a monopoly.
The most unfortunate thing is this same thing is occurring all across the Western world. In countries with Social Democratic parties they are now
shedding their working class base for an alliance of affluent cultural ‘liberals’ and poor minorities. It is a horrifying version of ‘1984’
meets ‘Brave New World’ and those of us who are left on the outside of this vacuum of moral degeneracy and PC-sensitivity is being punished by
them for not joining the mob.
