It's almost painfull to watch. I have a few friends in the Middle East that I've been talking to this morning (from Egypt, keeping me updatred) and they really just tear up in laughter or get very angry when I tell them about this.

I appreciate the perspective from someone in touch with folks in the region. The confirmation of what I feared for how they see this garbage is appreciated...but not encouraging if you know what I mean.

Why can't the Western Powers just take a step back once in awhile and treat other cultures as equals in at least THAT way instead of treating everyone with less wealth as some backward hick with no ability to think or form an opinion without help? I don't believe every war has been a bad move..but we (The West) sure make more of our own nightmares than ever come looking for trouble on their own.

Hey , black is white n white is black ........not forgetting the grey in the middle and the smoke n mirrors, TPTB tell the media who they are fighting , just don't look too deep as to the financial transactions involved , we hate X Y and Z because our government says we do , no brainer , taxes are spent on the war on terror , win , win situation for the arms people and the companies involved in buying your political masters , who in turn BS the people daily.

All's well that ends well , mmmmm me thinks not
