"What is LOVE?" Devotion. Feeling. Emotion.
(Return to yourself, the return to innocence)
Listen to the song as you read. This may help enhance comprehension of material, as it relates to the information provided.
The definition of "LOVE", and other words below are fact and truth, as affirmed by, Dictionary.com - "the largest and most trusted free online
dictionary." 1
LOVE: a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person 2
Per-son: a human being, whether man, woman, or child. 3
Collectively, we have one of the largest online English Dictionaries in the world referring to, "LOVE", as a form of affection limited to direct
interaction between two human beings. "LOVE" is completely subjective in every way, shape, and form, however. To claim, "LOVE" may only be
directed towards another person, when we take a step back to recognize how the word has developed global acceptance, sounds incredibly naive when
confronted with what "LOVE" actually is to begin with; an emotion.
E-mo-tion: an affective state of consciousness in which joy, sorrow, fear, hate, or the like, is experienced, as distinguished from cognitive (mental
process of perception) and volitional states (a choice or decision made by the will) of consciousness. 4
Imagine yourself having a conversation between you and your best friend. You’re sharing favorite recipes in the kitchen when one of you gets excited
and shouts, "I "LOVEEE" chicken and dumplings!" That emotion of excitement was affection, because it is not affiliated with another person.
Af-fec-tion: fond attachment, devotion, or LOVE.
Affection IS "LOVE". So when we are not directing affection towards another person, and instead use it in relation to all worldly entities,
"affection", supersedes, "LOVE".
Based on this logic and reasoning, every time anyone claims to "LOVE" a favorite band, animal, food, or book, etc., they are not telling the truth.
They're lying. The dictionary says so.
Ly-ing: the telling of lies, or false statements. 5
What is Truth?
Truth: conformity with fact or reality.
Conformity: action in accord with prevailing social standards, attitudes, practices, etc. 6
Using what we learned from the definitions of Truth and Conformity, now we can examine the credentials of Dictionary.com.
"The largest and most trusted”, is, according to whom? If conformity are the actions in accord with prevailing social standards, then, that claim
must be based on the presumption that society has accepted this as true. But, if the social axiom has accepted, "LOVE", as true in application
towards any and all living and non-living entities, even though it is used inadequately by definition, how does telling a beloved pet you "LOVE"
them make any sense?
It doesn’t.
What has become socially acceptable will be the main point of focus from here on out. There is a lot of information we have been taught that fits
within this same obscure way of thinking, and living amongst one another, that is leading many people to become completely ignorant to what reality
actually is, according to science and mathematics.
"Ask the right questions with the intent to pursue, and you become one step closer to discovering true self-awareness." -KrAzY
Each individual, living being on this earth is capable of being, feeling, and expressing, "LOVE". Our thoughts are the precursor of our emotions.
When we think about loving someone or something, that thought is followed by an emotional response.
Based solely on the premise that, the dictionary is a tool to form words into a common acceptance of the English language, if humans are to evolve any
further, we must accept responsibility for our inadequate use of "LOVE". How can we achieve unity if we're constantly lying to one another, and
ourselves, unknowingly? Or is it? Do we continue to do it knowingly because it's easier, or has already become widely renown? And if this is the
case, then the authors of the dictionary should be held responsible for changing the definition. Either way, a correction must be made in order to
accept the error of our ways, and remember to learn from them. This gives rise to many more questions when you take a step back to observe both of
these positions unbiased. Why has nobody taken responsibility for this mistake, and or, how come regardless of fault, humanity has not learned to
correct this common mistake? If this problem we face were concerning any other word within the English dictionary, then perhaps the repercussions we
collectively face would not be so dire. Nonetheless, there are two extreme forms of emotions that indefinitely determine all else in-between, creating
each individual with original personalities and traits. The utmost one we are most focused on which exists, as the ultimate form of affection, is
"LOVE", because it is universally accepted as such. "LOVE" is the ultimate "Good", while Fear is considered the ultimate "Evil."
The dictionary is not the most recognized piece of literature, however; so it remains only as a point of reference. Therefore, the information there
in becomes subjective if we are still to believe these hierarchies exist in accordance to social beliefs. The number one most read book in the world,
with more than 3.9 Billion copies distributed, is, The Bible.
What is The Bible?
"The Bible is the account of God's action in the world and his purpose with all creation. The writing of the Bible was accomplished over sixteen
centuries and is a quite amazing collection of sixty-six books containing the messages of God." 7
Who is God?
"God is most often conceived of as the supernatural creator and overseer of the universe." 8
Is there any proof of God's existence?
Or, is it just a social belief that has become blindly accepted?
And secondly, why are we so sure that this omnipresence is a He?
In order to answer these questions, we need to carefully examine The Bible, because it is the only physical piece of evidence we have that mentions,
God. Furthermore, regardless of, gender, or cause and effects of why, He, came into existence, the first observation one should make immediately, is
the fact that, The Bible is the Word of God, as translated by Man. Man wrote The Bible. Not, God.
Man wrote the dictionary, that much is obvious, and look at the complications that it caused, or didn't cause, depending on what you believe.
"Believe" is the key word followers of The Bible and Jesus must adhere to.
Belief: "the psychological state in which an individual holds a proposition or premise to be true." 9
It is only a psychological state, or, "of, pertaining to, dealing with, or affecting the mind, especially as a function of awareness, feeling, or
motivation". 10
"Christianity is the world's biggest religion, with about 2.1 billion followers worldwide. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ who lived in
the Holy Land 2,000 years ago." 11
Without belief, there is no construct to build upon. If The Bible is considered the Word of God, but there is no evidence to support this, how did
humanity become socially acceptable into believing something that just simply cannot be proved?
“He who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; he who does not ask a question remains a fool forever” -Chinese proverb. 12
There in lies the answer.
