As most of you know, intelligent design is just another belief system. Not being able to be proven wrong or right. However, that does not mean you can not show how improbable it is due to some of the problems (or transitions in evolution) we see in many different species today.
Mammals in the ocean.
The whale is well-known and is the largest known creature in the sea. Something sets the whale apart from most sea creatures, though. It does not have gills. It has a blow hole in which it breathes with a lung. Tell me the intelligence in creating a creature that spends it's entire time in water, but breathes air. It seems that the whale breathing air with a lung (among many other traits, such as their vestigial legs) is a trait that it has been left behind from it's land roaming ancestors.
Giraffe birth
Giraffe's give birth standing up. If you know anything about a giraffe, you know that the birthing canal is not exactly close to the ground. When a giraffe gives birth, the baby giraffe falls a good five to six feet to the ground, hoping it's legs and not it's long neck will break the fall. This does not exactly secure a position in life for the young giraffe and surely no intelligent designer is affiliated with this.
Feeding a baby kangaroo
When a kangaroo is born, it is starting life at an immature state. It is about two centimeters long and weighs less than a gram! Immediately after being born, it must crawl it's way from the birth canal to one of four teats to continue it's journey in life. Along with their size, baby kangaroos are not exactly the most mobile of beings and have a high risk of dying before reaching the teat to begin life.
Hyena clitoris
The Hyena has the largest clitoris in the world and is sometimes mistaken for a penis, often being referred to as a "pseudo penis." Why is this relevant? If the clitoris of a Hyena is engorged while giving birth to it's young, it will be crushed to death because it cuts off the passage to the outside of the birth canal.
These are just a few cases that clearly shows no intelligent designer created the inhabitants of this planet. I understand that people can hold their beliefs and what not, but asserting those beliefs to be facts is the problem. Draw the line between what you believe and what scientists work very hard to accomplish.
