That cop should get the chair! Screw loosing his job... Go directly to the chair... Dont waste my tax dollars on his trial.. I've already found him guilty of murdering an innocent human being.

YEAH!!

lets solve murder with murder

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/88b2a4acc8ec.jpg[/atsimg]

Putting that cop in the chair is not murder... It's justified. He took a life on purpose, without a single thought about his training, his surroundings or what he was dealing with. An officer is supposed to assest the cituation before doing a damn thing. He's supposed to put out ONLY the MINIMAL Force Nessissary to subdue or make an arrest. MINIMAL does not mean sending thousands upon thousands of volts through a harmless, helpless, deaf, incapable human being!

That's like you swinging a bat in the face of a person who's bound and paralised in a wheel chair. Wouldnt you demand the life of someone who does stuff to people on this level? You want this guy pulling your son or daughter over? How about your 80 year old grandmother? (it's an example, dont read in to it. I have no idea if your grandmother is 80 or if you even have one)

So yes... His "murder" will be justified. You can look at it as murder. I'll look at it as futur potentual life saving tactics.

This is unexcusible and the life of this man should not have ended under such circumstances. The officer and his CO should never be allowed to work as law enforcement again.

There are laws in place for this. I know... Sorry, but yeah, X cop here.

Minimal force nessissary to effect an arrest! Nothing more, nothing less. AND ONLY with probable cause.

The guy wasnt being arrested. He wasnt even combatant. Thoose cops never should have even thought of pulling that stun gun. I hope they rot for it!

Have you seen the one where the quadraplegic could not comply with the command to get out of his wheelchair so the police woman dumped him out head first on the ground? At least she didnt taser him also......

True. If the Taser does not stop you....you open the door to lethal force.

With the information that's available, it certainly doesn't sound like a justified use of force. According to his sister, Roger Anthony was declared brain dead at a local hospital. I would assume he struck his head after falling from being tasered, but those details aren't readily available. Apparently the town's mayor and police chief are calling for a state investigation.

Maybe we should only give badges to people who do a minimum 2 years of community service for their state or some type of community outreach programs where they get involved with the people and help out locally. That type of background would ensure that the officer has the people and their interests at heart rather than jump to the immediate conclusion that all civilians are threats.

Right... There are cures for rectal-cranial inversion.. You should check into it....

Thank you for proving my point though. People would rather just bitch and complain about something they know nothing about. They are to lazy to spend time to research the topic and all sides of it.

The simple fact you are unwilling / too lazy to be bothered to get involved aside from just running your mouthmmakes you exactly what you accuse the poilice of being.

Ironic.

Well stated.

Most cops really haven't a clue about the law. They are generally of low intellect, IMO.

Lol.. see my response above..

The ironies abound....

As far as being of low intelligence.. I take solice knowing that even with my low intelligence as you suggest, there are people out there, you for instance, who when compared to the special olympics, makes the athletes competing look like Einstien..

Congrats..

How about you explain to the rest of us what laws we know nothing about please. At the very least if your going to crap lies out of your mouth, you should be forced to support it.

What laws are we not familiar with?

LOLOLOL fearmonger much? CBS / WRAL News / WITN NEws

Cause of Death determination could take 3 months

Sharon Artis, of the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office, said an autopsy was performed on Anthony, but so far no cause of death has been determined.

“We are waiting on test results,” Artis said.

The test results include toxicology, Artis said, and other tests. No time frame for release is known, but the results could take three months, she said.

“From what I know of the situation ... this looks mighty suspicious,” Mills told The Daily Herald. “This was a man (Anthony) that was known for his gentleness and his meekness. He had a great and honorable reputation in our community. He had health problems, difficulty hearing, seizures and other health issues. It is inconceivable to us that he posed any threat to anyone. We’re waiting for the results of the investigation.”

You really need to learn how something works before opening your mouth about it.

Also, for the rest of the people, care to point out where the coroner ruled the taser as a cause of death?
Hell the State has not even finished its investigation of the incident yet.

Amazing how people complain about rights and laws while in the same breath wanting to deny those rights and laws to people they hate.

How about the laws about bank robbery. These highly intellegent servants of society trap the robbers then allow them to escape...brilliant

So when you commented about law enforcement not knowing the law, what you really meant was to refer to one incident in one state dealing with one law enforcement agency in order to set the stage for your woefully inadequate and ignorant accusation that all law enforcement, with you assuming they all act in the same manner, even though there are varying laws from state to state and municipality to municipality, that they are uneducated and poorly trained blah blah blah.....

So when you refered to law enforcement not knowing the law and not being intelliegnet you were what, foreshadowing that what you really meant was that you dont know the laws or how they work, and have no concept of the fact of the state and federal government as being seperate sovereigns, while actually superimposing your ignorance of the law and law enforcement functions into those men and women in uniform.

Right..... When you get back around to this thread how about actually backing your claim that law enforcement doesnt know the laws and explain to us which laws those are. While your at it feel free to school us on how those laws apply and the manner they are enforced.

You know... so us uneducated officers who dont know the law, can learn from a master such as yourself....

next..

OK.

How about the real simple law called "the law of gravity" and the art of applying the emergency brake?

"Slipped out of gear." BS lie to cover ones own stupidity.

But, in my experience, what cops lack in intelligence they make up for in dishonesty to cover their posterior.

So your answer then is no you have no idea what the laws are, and when you stated the police dont know the laws you were in fact lying about that for no other reason that to personally attack law enforcement profession and the men and women who do the job.

ooooooook........... So you are attacking something you dont understand and could never do. Typical...

When you decide to come back and actually support your accusations instead of trying to defelct by using humerous youtube videos that have nothing to do with your claims, let us know.

Absent that, you, like the vidoes you are posting, are a laugh riot and nothing more.

So, anybody who "might" be developmentally challenged gets a free pass.

Suppose you are a policeman. You pull up behind him. You blare your sirens. he speeds up and cuts through a narrow alley (there is no evidence this did NOT happen, the article doesn't say). You zip around the block and cut him off by blocking the outlet of the alley, so he just pedals away on the sidewalk, faster than before.

But you should let him get away. He might be special needs. He might be a minority. Let him go.

What was the officer hearing on his radio just then? Was there a report of a black male assaulting someone, stealing a purse, and then fleeing on a bike? We don't know---the article doesn't say.

But if the cops don't let someone go, they are bad cops.

I don't like tazers. I think they should be outlawed.

But a lot of petty drug dealers in pedestrian areas (Iike a college campus, a beach boardwalk, a pier) will ride a bike because the police on foot cannot keep up, and the cyclist can dodge a squadcar by cutting through grass, parking lots, etc.

What we need more of, according to ATS, is cops who do nothing at all.

There is no way they could be good enough.
