The truth is quite simple...

You have free will and live in a duality of extreme opposites. Up and Down. Left and Right. Coke and Pepsi.

Not only do you have free will; so does your brothers and sisters. In so doing, the have the will to "occupy" your mind.

They do this with pictures, they do this with sound... and subconsciously... you let them.

You cannot divert a river by standing in the stream.

Know why the river flows the way it does; and you will see the means to divert it.

You cannot stop a bullet with love!

You are an individual in a see of individuals. Each with their own set assumptions.

The kicker is that most of our assumptions have been so manipulated that we are left not knowing a damn thing.

This is why God gave you instinct and intuition.

We do not have free will, we have the lesser of two evils. We can either except one or another. If we had free will how many people would frequent places like ATS? No one. We would not be in the situations that are presented.

I respectfully disagree. Just because you feel you are in a flow of emotions... does not mean it is a standard of any sort.

How many people do you know that have given up on the "system"?

Yet, they still participate!

This is the exercise of free will on the part of those smart enough to manipulate your most secret of emotions.

Free will exists... [I have been where you are] ...we just fail to exercise it.

I mean after... not following our gut instincts keeps the lights on.

Participation is still free will. When we have the options of either becoming a cog in the machine or not is still an option. People have not had the ability to learn to choices.

You can either become a hero or a villain.

A consumer or a maker.

Or a researcher, or to follow group think.

Do you think that if people had more choices they would only choose between 2?

Your living in a box, of given parameters of how life is supposed to be lived, you say you have 2 choices, i say you have an infinate amount of choices.

U can go live as a homeless person begging
U can go live in Tiebet as a monk
U can go live in a cabin up somewhere in Alaska
U can go to Africa, set up a foundation and help people

You are only stuck with 2 options, beacouse you are convinced the American Dream is the only way to live, Think outside the box .

A thought experiment i love to do, and get others to do to think, is ;
Imagine if the world did end, all electronics stop (lets say EMP), then you would HAVE to ask yourself, All this money, all this material wealth , my car, my house, all gone now, what do i have left , what can i do. Find the answer as to what you would do if this material world did not exist, and you may just have found the natural path of the river .

Are you actually saying that the things that you presented are actually options for everyone?

I live more outside the box then anyone I know. The fact is that if people keep on thinking that free will is free, and their downfall is their fault, the can never get out.

Being, and becoming something outside of the realm of lies and deceit takes strong people, and many cannot see themselves in something other then what is here today.

i think that it is much more simple! From the moment we are conceived ,we just hurry to die, the technique is how to slow down the speed (some humans know that some don`t) !.....i call this "how to expand or compress the time[speed]" !
