Woman Pepper-Sprayed, Robbed While Waiting For Muni

A 55-year-old woman waiting for a bus in San Francisco's Excelsior neighborhood was pepper-sprayed and robbed early Monday morning, police said.

The robbery was reported at 6:30 a.m. at Silver Avenue and Cambridge Street.

Police said a man in his 20s approached the victim from behind, pepper-sprayed her in the face, grabbed her purse and knocked her down.

The robber fled and had not been found as of this morning.

Same exact incident happened to my friend the other night. She was walking home from class and a black lady ran up to her and pepper-sprayed her in the eyes. My friend's purse and backpack were stolen.

My friend ended up having to stay over night at the hospital because of that low life scum.

I'm wondering are there some kinda of pepper-spray repellent out there that any of you ATSers know of? Or anything that can remove or lessen the effects of the pepper-spray?
