I was reading Genesis 47 this evening and had and Epiphany. There is a prophecy within the entire book of Genesis that is then revealed all the way to Exodus from what I can see. Have we missed this somehow? It is simple to see:

Remember the story of Joseph: His brothers sold him into slavery and bondage from jealousy. Joseph rises to power, then brings the entire nation of Israel to Egypt because of a severe famine. This is after his brothers first come to Egypt asking to purchase food. Notice that the brothers did not recognize him, but he recognizes his brothers. This is important to the story.

He strikes a deal with Pharaoh and Israel to settle them into the land as shepherds. He then raises a tax on them of 20%. As the famine continues, they run out of money for food. Joseph then takes their flocks in exchange. After the flocks are gone and they have nothing left, he then takes their land and then their persons into slavery. His family is pleased with this arrangement so they can eat. When Joseph dies, they are in bondage in Egypt. We then see God coming back to rescue the nation with plagues on Egypt.

Read chapters 45-47 quickly to see where I am going.

The first thing to see is that Israel comes into a land and occupies it in the midst of a foreign nation. Then see that the brothers who sell Joseph into slavery do not recognize him as a brother. He saves them from the famine and is an archetype of Jesus. Israel became a nation in 1948, in the midst of the a world government system of commerce and the religion of Islam. Jesus came to the Jews when they were last in their land and they did not recognize their savior. When they returned to the land, they still do not see their savior (brother Joseph). Are you beginning to see the parallels?

What happens next? There is a world famine followed by enslavement of people. We are gearing up for this very thing in our present day Egypt. Slavery is next. We are currently slaves and do not even notice. There will be seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine.

Genesis 41:25

25 Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do. 26 The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads of grain are seven years; it is one and the same dream. 27 The seven lean, ugly cows that came up afterward are seven years, and so are the seven worthless heads of grain scorched by the east wind: They are seven years of famine.

If you know anything about Revelation, the last chapter of the Bible, you will see where this is all going. According to this foretelling of scripture, we are likely to see Jesus wake Israel up to the fact that He is the brother Joseph that they sold down the river 2000 years ago. He is coming back to lead them through the famine.

What do you think? Any validity to this?

I think it is interesting to notice the east wind causing famine. Where is our east wind today? Japan ring a bell. Why would this cause famine? Radiation is presently pouring over the world.

It's time to wake up! Hit the floor and repent. Ask Christ into your heart and believe. We are at the edge of the cliff people!

Take a look at the brief, unassuming verse Numbers 33:4. God judged the gods of Egypt. There is a lot of power in that verse. Take a wild guess at the role those rabble rousers (the gods God judged) will play in the apocalypse.

Just because it is written in a book it doesnt mean it has to come true.
To many of our world leaders believe in this rubbish and are orchestrating it all to happen.
I really think if we do blow ourselves up and destroy the earth it will be the Religious who have made it happen...

I think this is definitely an interesting perspective, certainly one I would have never thought of myself. I think the death of Steve Jobs signifies an end to an era of plenty. Could our era's 7 years of famine be the 7 years of Tribulation?

Sadly I was forced to 'discover' christanity most of my life and never did I see any facts. Unless facts are pieces of information that’s only merit is people telling you its fact.

I will not read Genesis 41-47 for you. I will point you to the parallel in current history, which is unraveling before us as we speak. If you do not know history, you may be doomed to repeat it. This is your choice. Become informed and read the Bible for all it's worth. You win in the end if you can see yourself in the mirror of the Word.

Yes. The gods, of course, are those, including fallen divine beings, who are likely reading this now. They have lit the fire they burn by. I am not sure if I am the first to see this, but if this thread is revealing something new, it is at the hands of God and not me. I'm happy to assist.

And by saying burn the righteous, you are taking your soul and placing it, willingly, into the darkness mentioned in the Bible? You would be in favor of burning those who love others and minister to the sick and afflicted? Go look in a mirror. You cannot recognize a fault in another without revealing it in yourself first. We are all fallen and in need of a savior from the wickedness of Egypt. Those who enslave only care about one thing: Self and what they can steal, kill and destroy. Their reward is here and now. Why not suffer for real reward and join the light?

If you would like facts and evidence, click on my user name and read my previous posts in reverse. My latest posts from the last few days are a summary of evidence that cannot be argued away. It is there for you to see if you choose. Faith can never be fact, but plenty of evidence is available to see the writing on the wall.

The really interesting thing in this is the ultimate point to all of it. It all leads us to the promised land. This is our hope. The work to get there is required. We must suffer for true reward. The Exodus is our movement from earth. Deuteronomy is our law for the new land in Heaven. Heaven is the universe. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. The kingdom is out there and we need a new body and gifts to access it.

Knowing this sequence, Ephesians takes on an entirely new meaning. There are two keys to this:

Deuteronomy 4

19 And when you look up to the sky and see the sun, the moon and the stars—all the heavenly array—do not be enticed into bowing down to them and worshiping things the LORD your God has apportioned to all the nations under heaven. 20 But as for you, the LORD took you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out of Egypt, to be the people of his inheritance, as you now are.

Then, go to Ephesians and read the secret mystery that God has held:

Secret 1 - The past generations are an reenactment of what is to come. The past is the future in act I to act II of the play.

2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, 3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

Secret 2 - God held this mystery until the time of the end. We are to proclaim his message to the universe and its rulers.

8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be discouraged because of my sufferings for you, which are your glory.

Secret 3 - There are families in the universe.

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.

I only have a simple question:
Why today's people should pay for something that happened 2000 years ago, something they never did or even thought doing in the first place?

That's a loaded question and you may not even know. Do you really want the answer?

Jesus said, "you must be born again."

You are the generation today and all others before.

Baptism is a symbol for immersion into the water of the material world. We are either born into the water or we gain union with God in love and are reborn into the spirit. JOHN 3 is the chapter to read this. If you are unaware of what I just said, use this awareness to figure it out. Then go to Matthew 20 and read about the workers in the vineyard. You are the worker.

The last will be first and the first will be last. Read the parable to the sentence you just read.

Put yourself first in this life by pride and you will work to the end. Put yourself last in this life in service to others and God and you will be the first.

Sigh another egro trip for 'Superior' Ed

You seriously think fallen gods and other divine entities are reading this thread, your thread and your god has revealed a previously undiscovered prophecy to you, personally, his chosen minion?

Reading through your previous posts, it seems to me that you "Put yourself first in this life by pride", you and your ego ofc......

There's a reason that history always repeats itself. I've come to the same conclusion about the book of Daniel. There are long debates about whether the prophecies in the book of Daniel were ALL played out in Daniel's time or whether part of it is to played out in a future event. Plenty of evidence points to both. I think Daniel's visions were completed in Daniel's time and I think we're going to see a complete repeat.

This implies something that occurred to me a few weeks ago. Is it possible that this entire reality is a reenactment of what came before us? God always existed in time. Time was projected at the beginning of Genesis 1 and is created by branching off a slice of infinity for measurement and observation. Is it possible that God has an origin outside of time that we cannot conceive unless we reenact the process for ourselves? This is an interesting way to view time. God pre-exists what He created. This does not imply that He exists in time, but only says that He encompasses time, space, matter and energy by our perspective.

Genesis 1:1
In the Beginning (Time), God created the heavens (Space) and the earth (Matter). Let there be light (Energy).

In Genesis 1, it is Elohim being plural. In Genesis 2, it is Lord (YHVH- Yud, Hey, Vav, Hey). Yud is the nail (tent peg). hey is to behold a great work. Vav is the hand. "Behold the hand, Behold the nail." Lord is the Son of creation. Light is both a particle and a wave. It is a duality and one in the same thing. Father and Son represent Light and Word. Both have always been there and are one with consciousness (Holy Spirit).

We are the reflection of light as a creation of reality in the format of a story in motion. We exist in the timeline of that story. Is it possible that we can exist in other timeline to experience yet another part of infinity? If the Cosmos is all that is or will be and is comprised of information in image, is it possible that we are merely witnessing one lesson here within the vast image of God? Too deep.

1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Take this example from the video below. Our information is created and then moves out as waves of light in frequencies across the entire universe in time. Can what we were here on earth be replayed by capturing the information and replaying it again and again through the cycles of time? What is a star when you look at it? The past. What is it now? Sill, by your view, the past, but something else entirely that you cannot see until your future, depending entirely on your frame of reference in the cosmos.

The universe contains more of the same, above and below. The Bible states here that families are under heaven AND on earth. They derive their names from the Father. The mystery is revealed here that we are not alone in the universe. Disclosure happened 2000 years ago and we missed it entirely. Of course, Christians already understand that we will transcend this reality for another.
