Brief outline = Brittle and Dag achieve a disguise suitable to get her safely through Home-Town, but first visit a jewelry shop. There she reveals herself and is greeted by two faeries, who offer to take her into a secret place. The doorway to this place is opened, which trips an alarm-bell some distance away.

Brief outline = Pip and Maggie are brought before Macalister. Pip is knocked out and they're separated. Macalister accuses Maggie of being an 'Alien'. Exposes he's been dealing with aliens for a long time. Maggie is hurt, kicked, etc. Somewhere 'off stage' a woman's' voice tells 'Mac' to take it easy on her. Macalister is caught between fits of rage and punishment and capitulation to the 'Voice'.
Finally, he calls in two attendants to take Maggie away for 'analysis' - much like we hear happens to those who say they've been 'abducted' for research by alines.
Mac says it's 'payback' insinuating he was an abductee who'd gone under the 'probe' himself.

Where the hell this came from I have NO idea. Just saying. I was finished with a Chumley and the two teapots post and it popped up!

Brief outline = The Yydryl locates the Green Man with difficulty. Her communication to the Tumbler gets garbled. The Tumbler tells Chumley and the two robots they must retrieve the Green man but Silo is dead. It begins to rain and Chumley carries the robots to a crop of rocks that offers shelter.

This is where the Green Man is in one back pack and the book Serendipity is in the other. That is not revealed in the storyline.

Chumley sits outside the rock shelter pouting. To anyone looking on it looks like Neno sitting there.

Sneaking away she's confronted by Taggart who threatens to 'tell'.

Margo - wanting to see Gep (readers now know she loves him) Margo uses her alone time in Mac’s office to watch him on the surveillance camera.
She sees Pip in the room. And Mac. Mac gives Pip a horrible choice. Shoot his father, or all three, Maggie, his father and he will die.
Pip sobs.

Margo runs from Mac’s office unable to watch any longer.
