Looking for online band

Hey, for a while now, I've wanted to form an online band. I took some vids so people can hear that I know how to play guitar at least. I like metal but will do anything except country. I take a lot of influence from A7x.

Anyone here play drums, bass, guitar, or sing? Know how to record? Let me know.

Why do you only play with three strings?

I don't know much about guitar, so forgive the ignorant question.

Are the other strings not clear in the videos maybe?

lol That's all you need, bro. Might as well take the other three off. Two of them used all the strings. Polyamorous and anything else by breaking ben is just stupid easy. Got a bunch of A7x stuff I'm gonna put up. I just put these easy songs together quick for band samples.

Also, my settings had a little too much gain. Did make it seem very bassy/distorted.

I tried doing the online thing a time or two and it never ended well XD. Mostly my fault I suppose, too many things going at once. Good luck, though! I hope you succeed where I did not. ~_^

Thanks. I'm just tired of doing covers with my band and hope I find people that want to do originals. It sucks living in the middle of nowhere (not really though, it's pretty sweet.)

Living in the middle of nowhere would be great if I did not have to drive three+ hours to see a concert XD. Covers can be great, but at some point you have to cut the cord and venture out there on your own, hoping people like what you do. It can be a little nerve-wracking, but it is definitely worth it! My friend talked me into making an industrial metal cover of The Safety Dance that I cannot even finish because it makes me laugh so hard whenever I try working on it XD.

the safety dance cover sounds sick, do it up. Scranton is like 40 miles from me. I am trying out for a band called One Red X in december so who knows?

i was thinking just the same thing. i play guitar, bass, and death metal black metal vocals which means i'm the least liked person in a town with three mormon chruches, two catholic churches and a heavily controlled music scene. two years now i have been looking for a drummer to no avail. if you kill someone and revive them with the necronomicon is it still murder? cause that's the only way i will find a drummer. i think i'll look on ats for a while before i raise any undead

Yeah used to do some temple of the dog covers (dunno if you know them, there essentially a super band, soundgarden pearljam etc (pre pearl jam))

of that vain, mostly been alice in chains covers to be honest!!
