To Bob Shieffer's credit, he overly acknowledges at the end that congressman Paul actually answered the questions. "Thank you for being here. And thank you for answering the questions."

I'm starting to like Paul more and more everyday as an electable candidate.

so if you are a 1% er , go ahead and vote for him

always vote your interest, always ignore the smoke and mirrors they use to confuse you

he's part of the problem, he's just better at confusing the people, especially those that will attack this post

Hey Syrinx. Are you saying that Ron Paul is a wolf in sheep's clothing? If so, what specific matters is he confusing his supporters on?

Ron Paul uses the system to "bring home the bacon" just like all insiders.

Ron Paul is unshakeable because he never flip flops and I have a hard time beliveing the guy lie's about anything.Being human and a politician, that's almost unheard of.

You know weather you like Paul or not, he should be the example of what kind of person you would want in a politician, weather you like his policies or not the fact that he does not change like all other politicians do to feed the public what they think we want to hear in order to just get elected should mean a lot to people.

If people are not going to vote for Ron Paul then at least apply the standards and honesty of Paul to the person you do vote for.If you can't find someone running for the GOP nomonation that has the honesty and integraty that Paul has then give him a chance. What is there to loose other then another 4 years of what we have had since Reagan...........Just a thought.

Im not directing this post towards you Mystic,if it reads like that I'm sorry.

The knowledge we gain and bonds we form from working together are invaluable. It allows for cohesion when called upon to fight side by side in some unforeseen conflict in the future.

And it doesn't provoke other countries. If that is true then please tell me how many countries have attacked us here lately?

Yeah: Conduct the exchange programs on a TDY basis.

Do the governments of China, Russia, India, UAE, et al have a broad military presence across the globe? In comparison to our forces no; and I doubt China, Russia, India and so on worry too much about an invasion consequent to their lack of force projection when compared with the American system. Assuming we would is, in my opinion, unsubstantiated.

What would be his other option?
To have his constituents be over taxed, then not get anything in return for that investment.

I work the system at my place of business as well. nothing illegal. I just do what I was hired to do.
I have to work within that framework.

My only point is to take away the "sainthood" the Ron Paul crowd has given this man.
He ain't no saint.
He ain't always right, and bending the rules for the sake of his own selfish needs works just fine.

I wish more people would do their research before they make a conclusion on what the guy stands for. The guy is far from perfect, but I WILL take him in before any of the other idiots trying to get the seat in the WH. RON Paul...You’re The Man!

Hahahaha, Ron Paul talks of the 9/11 commissions findings, and the CIA's findings,

And the interviewer says something to the effect, their findings cant be trusted......

see the big grin on Ron's face when he says that!!

Priceless

I was laughing at that, too. I wonder why Bob thought it was prudent to say such a thing to begin with? I think he blurted that out without thinking in order to stop Ron Paul's logic from being heard. LMAO

I understand.
But keep in mind that's a very small yet vocal minority.
Obama was the Saint of the moment. Turned out he was speaking with forked tongue.

I think the real issues with Paul and his supporters (which i am one of). Is that they really need to scream to make sure he is heard. It's actually starting to work, finally. I began supporting him, when I found out about his consistency.

This is not only a silly statement...it is a puny argument. You have not proven your point with that video at all. Do you have some other evidence of devilish deeds by Ron Paul to take away his "sainthood?" If not, please take your little video and go home.

It struck me that the dude asking the questions came across as quite rude and patronising, Is that normal for that kind of interview or is that something reserved for Ron Paul?

I hope he gets in but being honest Ive lost all faith in America as a world leader/power. I genuinely believe this is ur last chance. Dont screw it up!!!

Exactly ,, they are usually respectful to future presidential candidates .... but not to Ron.,.

b Schieffer is a disgrace and it on the wrong side of history, like Cheney, and so many others. Can't wait for the whole lot of them to die off, so that the next generation of up and coming idealists can take the helm away from their wicked old men's bones.

The MSM always pull this crap on Ron Paul. I would think that they would catch on they can't win with him.

Just started watching the debate on CNN and they introduced them all and Ron got the biggest applause. Then they cut the pic and sound to gray. yet the logos were still up. Did anyone else see this and or record it?
I want to see what they pull tonight.
Paul gets my vote

It's normal in the sense that our media is controlled. If TPTB don't want a candidate to make headway, they let it be known to the media. Plus, most of the media here is liberal so any conservative is going to be a target.

All of our media, hundreds of outlets, are controlled by 5 corporations and they are all in bed with Washington. You do the math.

Counter 3:50 The LYING interviewer says "Mr Paul ... No one has suggested in the U.S. government that we are going to bomb Iran."

Except for the previous Republican Presidential candidate, chairman for foreign relations, and defense chairman Senator McCain:

During last Presidential Campaign:

And it's not like the United States of America can trust the "News" agency with the highest ratings for their information

You refuted my point as well where I argued that Bob Shieffer was being fair, and thanked Paul for his honest answers. Thanks for the info - he is lying or least misinformed, which is bad for a highly senior political media figure.
