Hypocrites: Police protest in their thousands.

For those who don’t know, the response by police to occupy protests in Australia was nothing short of pure filth. Protesters were assaulted by baton, pepper spray, horse and fist for raising their voice, yet it is perfectly fine for them to do exactly the same thing??
Where are the beatings for them?
Not to mention the media gave them a fair coverage and didn’t label them as people who were deserving of being assaulted.

Oh well, they wont be getting paid soon enough; then we will see who's side their on.

Heres a little taste of what freedom of speech gets you in australia if your not a [police officer].

The kings guard always gets paid first.
It keeps the king safe.
Schools will be shut down, social services, public works, all before major cops shortages.
You will be able to tell how close the end is when they start laying off cops.

Very true. People will see soon enough how little they actually matter in the big scheme of things.
I cant wait untill occupy gets proven right because people who are against them wont have a clue what hit them.

No they were not.
They were removed by force from a makeshift campsite in the middle of the city after having been there two weeks. The campsite was the problem, not the voice.
They did, and still can, and still do, (like the police) use all the voice they wish.

Edit - just thinking about it a bit more, the police are doing it the right way.
They are speaking out on a common issue, with a common goal, and demanding specific measurable action to be taken, while being well dressed and behaving legally... and then they GO HOME after having said it.

Did they really think they were special? They are nothing more than paid grunts. Us them and lose them that is the mentality of the alleged elites. How much proof will it take before they rrealize they are of no more value than anyone else.

So you believe that someone camping should be assualted? Sorry but they were acting without provacation and becuase no one was in danger; they were illegaly using force.

These comments really just prove your ignorance. Thats exactly what occupy is doing but because of an oppresive system and brainwashed people like you change will take a long time so it is nescacery to continue the protest.
Please tell me how your idea of being well dressed is important, you know for a fact that most of the protesters are not 'smelly hippies'.
They will go home when change happens, but that will take a while.

My stance is that they were beaten for the camping, they were not beaten for raising their voice.

Well I highly doubt if you had ceo's camping out about unfair laws or something, the same action would not be taken by police.
The camping stance is an excuse, like many laws it is there for some people and not for others.
If you believe that they deserved to be beaten for camping then I suggest you get a grip and that you are seriously deluded if not a psychopath.
The law is designed to give officals pathways to lock anyone up. See they would have done the same thing even if they wernt camping.

Nope, but they will regret it soon enough. I cant wait untill the government cant pay them and then they become regular citizens with no rights to beat their fellow human beings.
