CAUTION!!!!! Socha Faal research gave my computer a Trojan Horse.

Last night a thread titled, "Immediate BAN for Posting Sorcha Faal Articles" was put in the Rant section. While looking over it I saw on page 2 a post by TrueAmerican that linked to another thread that featured a Faal article. This is the link. Here I followed TrueAmerican's link to the other ATS thread about Obama jailing 500,000 Americans. This is that thread. Here

Ok so note this is already in the HOAX bin. But last night it wastn't. I started following the source story by clicking the linked source. Then followed that story to their source. That is when my computer got infected by a Trojan Horse.

Beware of the Socha Faal website. My IT guys had to scrub my computer today.

I just wanted to warn my fellow ATSers to please have good virus protection and update regularly. We all know that but just wanted to reitierate.

I don't want to be the one to say it...but what did you expect researching garbage...that you wouldn't get any on yourself?

Get some antivirus and keep it updated??
Works for me and I go to the weird side of the net.
And if real paranoid keep all of your sensetive stuff on a separate isolated machine.

Tell your "IT guys" to update your antivirus to something more current providing real time protection.

My own tools flagged it right away.

Highly coincidental that Sorcha Fal has this Trojan on their site soon after it being cited and linked to here on ATS ?

I'd read that page sometime ago before ATS linked to it and it wasnt infected.

That must be Sorcha Faal's repayment for reporting ATS's affiliation with certain US Govt alphabet agencies.

COINTELPRO is apparently alive and well.

So, I'm confused...

Are you blaming, whatdoesitmean.com or 'Sorcha Faal' for this?
Can you bring forth an argument in which gives motive for 'Sorcha Faal' to do this?

Or,

Are you blaming, some three letter agency in which the suppression of dissent has just found a new tactic?

I've personally never clicked on the links, knowing that the link could either be made up and fiction, or that it contains bias in which supports the claims, giving reason for Sorcha Faal to use them in the first place, which should be obvious. Rather, I google every story that is mentioned, and draw my own conclusions.

I think whatdoesitmean.com is a great website, not because it is fact, or full of truth, but rather because it's entertainment, as well as brings forth many news stories in which I often over look. To each his own I suppose... I will admit that it's not for everyone, and not even for the majority of people, for it's becoming increasingly apparent that very few people practice any forms of methods of reasoning, or the scientific method in general.
