I am at the end of my rope as of this very day, ATS and now I do not know which way to turn or what words to help me this time. Since May, I had found what my true purpose was upon this Earth and thinks had been hectic at first but things are back where they were at before except I'm not the only one around me who is involved as of now.

My best friend had told me of his dreams last week that revealed whatever decision I make me and him will not be fighting this battle together and honestly, I don't want to lose him but whoever it is has promised me the things I've been needing for so long. Whoever it is promised me the woman of my dreams, a chance to do what's right and life on a grander scale. And hear me out here, I honestly believed I was crazy once more till he had told me he was going through a similar ordeal.

The deal itself is I'll be able to help humanity, achieve a now possible truth and be with the woman of my dreams or continue on the path I have been on alone. I'm truly terrified as of now ATS as we are both being pressured to make our respective decisions. I can not reveal the full measure of what is at stake here, but please this is a time when I need someone's, anyone's help. If this is not enough information, then u2u me but please do not just ignore this as my life, my friend's and many other lives lay at stake here..

If it in any way harms people...don't do it. Benefiting from harming others is wrong. No matter how badly you want something, bringing harm to others is not the way to get it.

It sounds like a sucker deal to be honest. Think 'At the Crossroads.'

I'd be interested to hear more. It should be noted, however, that the details you have provided are sometimes associated with breaks from reality.

Good luck either way and please elaborate if you can.

He said the deal was to help Humanity didn't He? Op... Who offered you this deal? I'd be wary of signing on the dotted line before you know exactly where the deal was coming from.

Don't sign anything until you have read it thoroughly inc. the small print.

It is difficult to give an advise when we don't know what your situation is. Send me a pm and I will give you an advise.

Slow down, Op. Ask yourself the tough questions. The only one who offers deals is the devil and you don't have to even listen to him.

And you come here to seek advice....where all the crazies are?

OP, God doesn't make "deals." If someone or something has offered you a deal it's highly suspect. As for the "woman of your dreams," people often think that just meeting that magic person will cause everything to fall into place. That's rarely the way it happens. Relationships -- even the best of them -- are work. Good luck to you. Keep your eyes wide open and make intelligent decisions that you know in your heart are the right ones.

I think a psychiatric evaluation needs done before you agree to anything with anyone...including yourself at this point.

Seriously...that is not meant sarcastically at all...seek professional help...anything is going to be better than the advice you get from all the trained professionals on ATS....just saying!

Is listening to the devil the same as listening to god, where you get the voices confused with your own? Or is it easier to make out the devil's voice than god's voice?

After going to the OP's profile and reading his other threads, I was tempted to post what you did. TY for being braver than me.

You are suffering from schizophrenia most likely. I have read some of your other threads and the ringing in the ear gives it away. I am not being judgmental here. Medication can even the two sides of your mind so that you stop hearing your own thought delayed. This is actually what is happening. It seems that you are hearing a voice speaking. In reality, the two halves of your brain are out of sync. One side thinks, then the other side hears late. Even TV can seem to be delayed to one half. I am no doctor, but a quick Google search may reveal that your symptoms are obvious. This is nothing to be ashamed of or distraught over. Seek a doctor before making a move in life that may be regretful.

Interesting....sound advice. Good job.

Or is it easier to make out the devil's voice than god's voice?

The devil gets mad at you, yells at you, belittles you, demeans you, scolds you, lures you, tempts you.
Angels of god, quietly suggest an alternative to all that crap. The still small voice. The calm voice of reason. Thats how you know the difference.

So when there's a calm voice of reason that says such and such will happen on a certain day, and it doesn't happen, who was that talking? How can people not differentiate their voice from some deity's voice? How do you know that it isn't your own thoughts that gets mad at you, belittles you, etc? Is our mind not capable of doing those things itself? It has to come from some outside source? Our minds/brains are very powerful, and aren't given enough credit as to what they can conjure up.
