(CNN) - President Barack Obama on Monday said Republicans in Congress rejected what he called a balanced approach to deficit reduction that included tax increases on the wealthy.
"Despite the broad agreement that exists for such an approach, there are still to many Republicans in Congress that have refused to listen to the voices of reason and compromise that are coming from outside of Washington," Obama told reporters after a special bipartisan committee announced that it had failed to reach a compromise.

It doesn't help that everyone keeps denying that the white house is bought and paid for.

Even Mathews, the sends a "thrill up my leg" guy went on a rant about Obama not doing or saying anything meaningful. It's getting really bad when he starts to loose his own people. The most divisive President in our history.

Perhaps if all the corrupted whores in congress give back all the millions they have earned with inside trading thanks to their pimps in Wall street they could be able to raise billions toward the deficit, without imposing more taxes on the working class.
