This "half flag" sounds more like a PR job meant to elevate public opinion of the police and of Bloomberg following a rise in negative sentiment towards them pursuant to their horrible treatment of some protesting Americans.

"Yeah, we mased some innocent people and bashed some heads. Yeah, the Major replaced a judge so that they would agree with him but forget all that and LOOK.... we caught this scary terrorist! See, we love you and will take care of you and keep you SOOOOO safe. Like us now. (or else)."

The video taped footage of a simulated version of what "would" have happened is a new low in psyops to scare the masses. And how convenient that - yet again - we have a foiled "terror plot" leading into the busy holiday season. They have become experts in sheep herding.

The video of the bomb was very weird and clear fear mongering. Everyone knows what a bomb does, why show it? Even tho it was pretty small anyway.
Thats how society works I guess, if you go against the grain your either insane or radical. But if you believe in something like religion or ghosts your normal? Its all about majority; and sadly a majority are still fearing an invisible enemy.
The friend thing is a typical tactic used against 'extremists'. Its to make the reports personal for everybody in my opinion.

I've studied color therapy and its metaphysical meaning. Orange over green is usually not a good combo. Orange is a color of distress, fear, problems, shock and trauma. Green is symbolic of peace, nature, clarity of mental disturbance, wisdom. When I see orange over green, I see distress over peace. another shock and awe coming??

Great point, I didnt really think of it like that; and I do know for fact that colour has a huge impact on subconsious thought and perception.
Regarding the colour combonation, maybe its a bit of a confusion tactic? Confusion usually makes people more easy to convince because when someone is confused they will usually agree to what someone is saying rather then look like they dont understand.
I wouldnt be suprised if we see some more 'shock' soon enough; war is on everybodys doorstep. Its not coming from any lone wolf but the US puppet government.

I finally found a story about this on CNN. I understand the purpose of the news release. What I don't understand is is this quote.

While authorities had monitored him for over two years, they decided to move quickly for fear that device may soon explode, according to the commissioner.

According to the brief story, this guy was inspired to these actions by reading an obscure web site. Several times this site was reinforced in the article to be al Qaeda related. Yet the report states that authorities have no reason to believe he had ever worked with anyone else or had any contact with al Qaeda.

Why then was he monitored for over two years? Monitored by whom? Monitored how? What prompted that? Is it even true? Somehow I have my doubts.

I don't really think so. It's just that when you look at these "plots", which never seem to go beyond a certain point, there are often handlers and informants that really pushed along fairly stupid and hapless idiots who otherwise would have just spouted off to their circle of friends and mumbled incoherently on internet message boards.

Then all of the sudden - BAM! Instant press conference, sound bite and furtherance of the surveillance and suspicion that permeates our police state. It's all so obvious and predictable now, it's kind of like that movie Brazil. Any of us are capable of being declared "terrorists" when taken out of context.

Reading a few articles, its not clear to me how far he got through the bomb making process, or if he had barely started.

So all I have so far is that
- he was planning to make a bomb, but didnt.
- he was hoping to blow things up, but didnt.
- he was thinking of changing his name to Osama Hussein, but didnt.
- was hoping to get some friends along to his cause, but didnt.

So what does he get charged with? Thought crimes?

And more weirdly...

Pimentel... has been charged with conspiracy to build a bomb for terrorist purposes.

I was always under the impression that conspiracy needed two people.
Can a "lone wolf" really be charged with conspiring with himself?
