All of the articles from that source begin in the same way: "Sources in the Kremlin have said that 3 headed cows are giving blue milk" or "A secret report has been prepared for Prime Minister Putin that states that America is using plastic cups with microchips to spy on citizens"

They're remarkably easy to spot.

So... click alert (it takes around 1 second) and the thread will be moved to it's appropriate place.

I don't think this is something worth getting worked up over.

Is there really a difference. The MSM has been caught creating and lying the Enquirer is more accurate as news. There is nothing they haven't done or said to convince people that they are actual news sources at all. If one can get away with it and call it news why not the rest?

The time we ban all "Sourcea Fail" articles will be the time he will gets one right and we'll have missed it.

We try not to ban people for honest mistakes or having differing opinions.

Some members may not know the deal with "Sorcha", others may well consider "her" a legitimate source and feel we are wrong to have designated anything from it as an auto-move to the Hoax forum.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, and unless they are deliberately posting false information in an effort to deceive or mislead, that's as far as it goes. Of course, if we do encounter evidence of deliberate hoaxing, we can act on it, but whenever there is any doubt, our members deserve the benefit of that doubt.

One thing I wouldn't mind, though. Maybe we should create a special "Sorcha Faal" forum.

We could use it for stories that don't make the cut for the Hoax forum.

Yeah. And there's my problem with it. Over the years, this has happened many times. A repackaged Faal article fools everyone, until it is discovered. People spend time writing out comments. And it all could have been avoided if ATS would just get fricken serious about this. What is so hard about understanding that anything from Faal is pure BS, and wastes people's time.

Bonez, I feel ya man. This sucks. AGAIN. Springer says ATS doesn't want to support any articles by SF. How many more times are we gonna be had? I guess another 100,000. And whoever said that Faal is 100% accurate needs to have their head examined.

Ok, fine. I'll rewrite the next 100 faal articles and post them all here at ATS claiming "I believe this, so I am posting it." Waste everyone's time, 100 times. See how you like it, dammit. There is a time to put a foot down on a private site like ATS when a source consistently proves to spew total BS like Faal, and it continually disrupts whatever ignorance ATS is trying to deny.

I totally understand your frustration but an immediate ban is not the answer. If such should become the case, where would ATS draw the line?

Personally, I am sick and tired of reading about Icke, Greer, Wilcock, Hoagland, Maussan, sheilaaliens, Colleen Thomas, Alison Kruze, Collier, reptilians, vampires - waiting for hobbits and goblins threads - and most of all I am disappointed every single time that I come across a thread on the first page with claims that are so outrageous and so out there that they probably make National Enquirer jealous with envy...

But where do we draw the line?

Censorship isn't the solution. A lot of these hoaxers I never heard about before becoming a member here. I learned.
