Why the hate?

First thread from a LONG time lurker/researcher.
But Why?
Why are people constantly reading an "ALIENS & UFO" forum simply to drop by and say that it's all crud? Everything. No proof. Don't care. Nutters. Youtube. Disinfo. Fake. Fake. Fake.
I wouldn't think to look up and comment on a football team's website, questioning an own goal decision I never watched.
Who would?
It's weird the animosity I read from people on here.
It's a conspiracy forum.
It's about UFOs.
It's got ALIENS in the title...
I don't get it.

What the hell? I only have enough time to look for things on line that actually engage and interest me.
Of course!: If you think a spot near the sun is going to be a camera glitch, you wouldn't open a thread about it. I wouldn't (anymore).
If you think the idea of a grumpy reptilian captain on an American radar base, or a Swiss cripple making saucer sounds, or a cure for blight in white roses is absurd, why would you even check???
You're either bullies, bores or plants.
I for one would like to see the "Fun" back into "Fundamentally harmless but are pretty sure they're on the right track and might put together some idea of what's going on someday in their own short life"
And if we don't?
At least we're not watching sports or making snide remarks about other peoples opinions. Or roses.

At the time people where pissed at Galileo Galilei for the exact same reason. He said that the Earth rotated around the Sun, well how could that possibly be when the establishment said that the Earth was the centre of everything.

People do not like change and the acceptance of ET would change everything in much the same way. The questions would go on for decades maybe even centuries. As in the case of Galileo Galilei the establishment has written the book and they do not want to write another. There are also plants.

Extrodinary claims requires extrodinary evidence.


We live in 2011 , with some amazing tech and tools to actually definitifivily prove these crafts. But still we seem to swim in tiny , fuzzy , shaky , blurry , hard to draw conclusion type vids.


Surley we can get a super zoomed HD cam of one of these flying objects , for there mere fact of identifying them lol. We have so many bs vids , and not one decent video of one of these crafts up close so we can see her in all her detail. I know we have the tech now for everyone to use . I wanna see them waving through the window lol .


Its closer to us then satilites! but yet we still can't seem to catch a upclose shot.

Perhaps you and some fellow ufo reserachers could pool some money and get us that million dollar shot . lol


and its not really hate , its just crisitism. But you see with ufo's people just tired of the same old over and over , they sometimes call it too early :p without giving it proper do . But thats just because of the history of failures .

That is an easy question to answer: It is also a discussion forum-- opposing ideas, thoughts, speculation are not only allowed, but necessary-- otherwise it would be called a "blog."

And you see... I am passionate about astronomy, manned space-flight and such. So when I read someone who may not have thought through something, or who has not read what I have read, experienced what I have experienced, then I want to share.

And when someone has experienced something I have not, read something I have not, and thought something through I have not-- I want to learn. That is not hate-- that is simply human-- even good and beneficial.

Since there are no aliens visiting Earth we can only imagine. I believe there is alien life elsewhere..just no here.

The fact that skeptics read threads that are total rubbish only means that there are people out there who wish to stop the spread of ignorance that's all.

There is no evidence nor has there ever been to support the claim of alien life visiting this planet.

Stories(hearsay), YouTube vids and blogs do not count as evidence...find some and then we can talk.

Why the hate? Its all due to the nature of humanity and the internet we created. Semi-anonymous attacks by those who can't stand those who don't conform to their own train of thought are the by-product of a popular conspiracy theory forum such as this.

There is a lot of cognitive dissonance surrounding this issue, and all conspiracy theories really. With the way our civilization runs it drives some to the anger expressed here.

Have you ever heard of self-hating homosexuals? I say the hate spawned on conspiracy theory boards is a similar issue and a lot of the hate comes from self-hating conspiracy theorists. Some people just cannot accept something they've come to the conclusion as truth when it conflicts with societal norms and pressures. You can't exactly go about your daily life extolling your belief in this subject unless you make it your source of income, and then you're hit with constant public belittlement. This frustration all comes out in a boiling rage as anonymous flames here.

I don't know of any way to contain it other than greater policing by moderators.

It would seem to me if you post something on a forum.. and you can't defend your position from opposing views... you see where I'm going with this right?

if obvious 'crud' is obvious, then i've no problem with people saying so (howevr they do it).
i'm a a ufologist(i read ufo books and trawl the internet) . i couldnt care less what strangers on the internet say.

I use to think "why don't they tell people about these things? They are as as obvious as the nose on my face!" Until I met (online) an old Hopi elder. And my world changed overnight. He told me of things that have been and things to come, of the powers currently on this planet in whose interests it is to deny these things.. and to go on denying them until the Sun burns out. But there is a big game changer on the way, which is soon to manifest around the last week of August through all of September in a near future year. Then none of it, including all their wealth, their power which perpetrates the current prison we call the Earth to deny the people access to the good life - will mean anything. It will be time to evolve, to "put away childish things"....

Well that in and of it’s self would be a really big change and the establishment do not want it they are quite happy the way things are. Do have a good think about it and I am sure you could only agree it would indeed change everything and turn all on its head so to speak.

I think you are confusing the word evidence with the word proof. There is something of a mountain of evidence in support of ET visitation and even dare I say it certainly an element of proof. Perhaps not uncontroversial but proof of something very strange never the less.

The problem that I have is I have seen something that can not be explained away. Not then which was many years ago or even now for that matter.

So now I am somewhat stuck between what people may call common sense and what I saw.

I have a question for you....a polite question. LOL! Why do you profess to know absolutely that there are no ALIEN VISITATIONS ocurring on Earth right now? I only desire to uderstand your logic on this and I am not trying to argue the point as I know what the reality is....but I don't know or understand....why you are so certain?

What I can say with absolute certainty is the establishment are lying thought their teeth.
