Now Aussie culture can represent one of the most multi-cultural in the world.

Personally though. Cold beer, thongs, singlets, cricket and AFL:

The rest have Yoghurt... Thats (bacteria) culture too...

Every country has beer and barbecues ffs..

ok here i am sitting here in Northern Victoria near the Murray river listening to music after a hard mornings work pondering the Australian culture let me see now , bogans galore sport addicts . As long as they have peoples head in sport the government can just do as they wish who cares !!!

We have no Aussie Culture anymore.. it was invaded by Popular American Culture for the past 30 years... so it is now dead... very sadly.

But we are famous for not giving a crap what anyone else thinks.

We are famous for our irreverence.. nothing is out of bounds when it comes to our sense of humour.

We are famous for our "She'll be Right Mate" attitude.... which is to say we are so laid back that we can't be bothered getting out of our own way half the time.. and why any Occupy style movement is so short-lived here.

We are becoming famous for our Apathy.. see above.

We are famous for playing seriously hard physical football without feeling the need for girly body armour.

There's a lot more but I am out of time today.

The "White Australia" concept died along time ago now

Modern Australia is a true multicultural society.

The city I live in, Adelaide has a strong German heritage that is celebrated

annually with a festival called Schutzenfest which is mainly beer and target shooting.

There are many other festivals to recognize our multiculturalisim here as well but

the Schutzenfest is my favourite

American's do not appreciate nor understand our sense of humour!

Aussies are famous for ugg boots! (I used to walk to work wearing them) hahahaha with my work suit...

never in my mind did I think it looked sexy... it was comfy and my toes (esp in Sydney) were warm....
