Hello fellow truth seekers. I have been interested in ufo's and the prospect of alien life my entire life. Blame pop culture/Steven Spielberg if you
must, but it is an idea I have always thought about ever since I was a small child. I have read many books and seen plenty of documentaries and am a
sci-fi fan to boot, I admit that I am not a good witness, but that does not take away the fact that I did witness ufos when I was fifteen.
The event started with a VERY low tone rumble/beat. I am not a musician however I know some musical terminology and I believe that the best words to
use to describe this sound would be a motion composed of various bass tones that would frequently change in intensity while never changing its
frequency beat (dissonant?) This noise was ominous. It made me, as well as my father and sister who were in the same room as me during this, feel like
something terrible was going to happen soon...the ominous feeling turned into fundamental fear. The noise would not stop. It kept going in that same
damned motion. The beat was constant in that it did not change however the intensity was not constant because it changed often, though randomly.
We were trying to think of a rational explanation as to the cause of this noise, despite the fear I was thinking logically during the first ten
minutes or so. There are various refinaries within a twenty mile radius as well as train tracks encompassing the area. We know these sounds, they are
not apocalyptic, in fact they are not even bothersome. My first thought was that perhaps there was a party at my neighbors or that someone in their
driveway was bumping their bass and listening to some TERRIBLE MUSIC. I went onto the porch and saw that no one was home at my neighbors.
My two dogs were staying in the front yard and barking and running around, clearly disturbed by this as well. This was odd because normally they run
right up to me when I step onto the porch, but they couldn't care less about me at this point. I looked out towards west and saw a very dark cloud
approaching. I was fifteen at the time and have seen/been through plenty of violent thunderstorms and this was the oddest looking cloud I have ever
seen. It was a massive black blanket being slowly pulled over our house. Pure Black...no delineation or varying shades of black, just black. I went
back into the house and locked the door. The noise was continuing on and our anxiety levels were rising.
My memory is a little fuzzy at this point but I clearly recall those first ten minutes than another moment some time later in which my father, sister,
and I were holding hands in the middle of the house and my father telling us that he loves us as this noise kept going on. Sometime later my mother
came home and was very upset that we were so disturbed about this...we jumped on her when she first walked in, asking her if she knew what was going
on. I figured everyone else in the world was hearing the same thing as I. She did not know what the hell we were talking about but caught on to the
noise quickly and thought it was disturbing as well. She called my grandparents who live only about a quarter of a mile down the road and they could
not hear a thing.
My mother and sister decided to leave to find the source of this sound thinking possibly the refinaries. My dad went back into his room to have a
cigarette while they were gone. I hung around in the hallway, because I did not want to be in the living room alone while this was going on...yes I
was very disturbed by this. After a few minutes my dad called me back into his room. I jumped up and ran back there. His head was out the window and
he was telling me to come and look at this. I looked out the window and saw, and I hate to say this, CLASSIC, CLICHE, FALLING LEAF UFO LIGHTS. My dad
said he had been observing them for the last few minutes but did not want to call me back because he saw how disturbed I was by the noise, but had to
get someone else to witness them after they hung around in the sky for several minutes. It is hard to believe but during this entire experience not
once did I think "ET" or even "UFO."
I was only thinking fearful thoughts and feeling like the end was nigh. The lights were at an altitude and a distance from us that if they were not
flying in that classic "falling leaf" motion covering far too much distance to be something conventional they could have been airplane lights, however
they were not blinking, no FAA lights, no airplanes....In fact we got a great comparison to an airplane when moments after the three lights flew off
to the north INCREDIBLY QUICKLY/nearly disappearing a conventional airplane flew in the same airspace as these lights and seemingly followed after
them. When we observed the airplane we both exclaimed "Thats an airplane!" It was almost comforting to see something familiar after so much oddity.
It seems incredible to me now that I did not tie the two anomalies together or even think that what I had experienced was something to do with what I
have been interested in my entire life. Compared to the noise the lights were almost forgettable. My mother and sister came home some time later and
said they saw some strange tornado like effects on the bay but said they could not find out what was making the noise, however in a motherly way my
mom suggested that it was "just the refineries." Again the lights faded from my focus and was just relieved that the noise had stopped. It stopped
about twenty minutes after the lights left.
The next day on the school bus I asked several kids if they had experienced anything odd the previous night, everyone said no. I looked up odd
rumbling noises on google and found a lot of info regarding anomalous sounds. Something called the Taos hum seemed to fit the description. It was not
until several years later while I was trolling youtube that I came across the experience of a women in Australia named Kelly Cahill. I will not go
into detail here about her encounter, but I highly suggest all interested in alien/ufo experiences to look her up. She does describe an energy that
effected her by making her terrified.
From her book Encounter pg 117 "In the same instant as the other beings appeared an incredible physical energy hit me in waves of vibration, and the
vibration carried an emotion. That's the only way I can describe it. I was hit with something that they were pumping into me in waves, and this was an
emotion of pure, unadulterated horror. You'll get an idea of what these waves were like if you imagine you're standing in front of a bass amplifier at
a rock concert. Multiply the volume by ten, and then oscillate it from full to nothing over and over." That is exactly how I described the noise from
my experience.
When I was younger most if not all of the sightings that I was aware of were described as being silent, however I have done much more research in the
last ten years and have come across many reports describing the same noise, using the same words. I am reminded of the ancient Indian text the
Mahabarata and what they call Vimanas. From Bruce L. Cathie book "The Bridge to Infinity" (quoting the Mahabarata) pg. 76 "It can be moved by tunes
and rhythms...alternative means of propulsion, it can be driven solely by the power of sound, tunes and rhythms." From John Keels book "UFOS:
Operation Trojan Horse" pg. 85 "The music was entrancing, the like of which never was heard in this place. It wasn't long before everybody was
