I doubt (for lack of a stronger word) the legitimacy of Tamil Nesan's report on seven-year-old girl Kura Nitya's stone weeping condition.

First, the openings of the tear ducts (the puncta) are 0.3mm in diameter. (source).

A grain of sand (A grain of sand (as determined by geologists with the Krumbein phi scale) is between .0625mm in diameter to 2mm in diameter (between one-fifth the size of the tear duct and nearly 7 times the size of the tear duct.

Assuming a "stone" is larger than a grain of sand, a stone would rip this poor child's tear duct apart.

Science aside, as conspiracy88 pointed out above, Times of India reported a similar story about a Thirteen-year-old Savitri Kumari who made a claim similar to Kura Nitya's.

Eight days later, Times of India debunked Savitri Kumari's claim.

The legitimacy of anyone crying stones is questionable at best, a cry for attention at least.

Sorry, India, you are full of liars and cheats.

Just look at all the cricket matches you have tried to fix.

How does Shiva feel about this?

Or any of your other gods.

And you are an utter Moron who doesn't know anything about India's history as well as its cricketing history. Look at your pathetic attitude. Where are you from?

Anything India and you turn your back? Quite an excuse. Hoaxers are everywhere. BS is not limited to a geographic location.

Hoaxers are indeed everywhere but we see a lot of stuff like this in areas of poverty where the attention can bring in dollars. Some parts of Central & South America are also the same but it usually comes in the guise of religious hoaxes. No biggie.... it's just how it is and one must remain skeptical at all times.
