Why Do People Like Ron Paul So Much?

I'm haven't really been following politics and elections that much, but I always hear people on this site talking about Ron Paul this and Ron Paul that. So, those of you who support Ron Paul for some good reason as opposed to other candidates, why do you support him?

He is the only honest, true conservative, with a record to prove it, that doesn't speak in sound bites, but always has an answer. He is the only candidate for smaller government. He is the only candidate that wants to shrink our global footprint and concentrate on problems at home. He is the only candidate that understands and respects the constitution.

And most importantly, the established political parties, and the established media, and the big bankers and Fed, and big corporations all despise and fear him, so he must be doing something right!!

Because Dr. Paul tells the truth and has consistently voted for the Constitution for 30 years , because he wants do away with the "Federal Reserve", because he is not a corporate shill and puppet for the people who own America, because he is a man of the people.

And we don't "like" him, we love him and in our hearts know Ron Paul is the only hope for the United States.

And this is not a good question. What would be a far better question is why the corporate shills and the MSM hate him so much.

I don't know what your major issues are but:

Are you in support of returning to follow the Constitution instead of violating it?

Are you in support of auditing the federal reserve to show the world how corrupt they really are? and eventually gathering enough support from the people to abolish it altogether?

The real question is why anyone likes santorum, cain, romney, or perry. They are all obviously either idiots,hawks,
liars, or shills for the present system. its obvious you could dress them in the same clothes as any of the last 10 presidents and they will act exactly the same.

The thousands of threads on the subject speak about specific things about his campaign.

I want people's personal opinions of why they support him. I was just wondering what all the hype is about or if it was just hype.

I don't see the difference between the man and his campaign. He is what he stands for and he stands for what he is. Maybe that is the reason for all the hype? He is actually a man that believes the stuff coming out of his mouth instead of just saying, running back to check the polls, and then tweaking it and saying it again, LOL!

He is the Anti-Perry, Anti-Obama, LOL!

The hype is from those folks that have taken the time to review his voting record, meet him, watch him in debates, read the stuff he was saying during the Reagan years, read the stuff he was saying before 2008.

The hype is well deserved, but it isn't something we can communicate to you in a sound bite. You will have to look into it yourself if you want to be fully convinced.

If the MSM would just be fair and balanced.. and tell the truth , Then Paul "would be" pres.. They are scared.

He is honest even if it costs him votes he won't pander to get votes.

Well, first off he is not any of the other candidates.


*Not like it matters anyways. The president makes far less choices than the information available does.
