One day learning will be obsolete, we will be able to just plug ourself into the interwebs and download all the information desired. our great grandchildren will be instant einsteins that will most likely dwell in an artificial reality.

If they can use computer generated answers to threads then they would not need teams of cyber army dis-info agents.

Artificial intelligent computers (that we know of) are not reliable enough to produce a solid argument. What these brainwashed cyber army people need to realise is that thier families are under attack also at this very moment. They will not survive and are being "soft killed" as I type this. Anyone who argues against the facts of eugenics is a serious idiot and will soon be dead also. They are actually helping the people who are hell bent on killing them!!!

I admit there are a few people who rely on the Internet, however I can tell you that it is increasing my knowledge base and I have kept knowledge of everything I have read on the net without the need to search!

The same could be said about a library... Does a book decrease peoples intelligence?

Think of the Internet as a massive virtual library. It is easier to search for and easier to assimilate data but that doesn't mean it is "dumbing" people down!

If you know how to utilize the web it is an extremely powerful tool!

What the Internet does do though is induce egotism with the ability to remain anonymous, specifically on message boards and social networking websites!

At the same time, for normal decent folk around the world, it has broken down the distance gap and allowed us to interact and become friends with people in countries we would never even though of meeting people when we were kids.

I rarely got to interact with people outside of my hometown never mind America, Australia etc.

I think the internet is a fantastic tool, shame that there is always people everywhere in life that try to spoil it.

Am I serious? I'll never tell

Or if you want to cheat, you can just ask any of the countless people from ATS I have talked to in person, on the phone, on skype, through IM and email and probably a few other venues I am forgetting.

Yes I keep books, from Carl Sagans Cosmos, to Jeremy Clarksons Driven to Distraction, I would take a photo of my book collection, but you will no doubt dismiss it as computer generated Photoshopped toilet paper.

When you walk out of your front door, do you believe that the people you meet are all part of some computer simulation, perhaps like a holodeck, or the Matrix? Or are your delusions limited to people on the internet?
