Just a question to everyone. Does anyone on ATS play World of Warcraft?

Of course I do. Just post if you do or don't. I know some people are going to slam it but whatever.

That game is terrible! I quit a long time ago and rediscovered the game of life.

I played wow from launch until the first patch of cataclysm. Do yourself a favor, and cancel sub.

I'm a pretty big MMORPG fan and so far its still the best. Also I'm not a "wow junkie" I play about 2-3 a week for about 2 hours within one of those days. So its not too bad. However I do know people who are waaayy to into it. And for the record...Diablo kicks ass too!

I used to. Only rolled rogues though, kind of quit a little while after cata, as things started becoming less of interest. nevertheless, one of the best rogue classes, game wise. Sometimes I even miss it.

Well you could always sign up again.

Some people got majorly addicted like it was crack, I've got that bad because my job I work a lot so I have time to regulated my time accoding to play when I have the free time.

I like a Rogue, I rock Pally, Priest and a Warlock. My account is pretty old since launch if believe been so long.

Eh, I don't have the money nor time for something now that i see to be irrelevant, especially since school season, and the fact that the pc i played it on died, and my other pc i an osing linux, and i dont have enough ram. and yes, I still feel the results of my addiction. The seering urge to play again, the withdrawals. I think in the 2 major months i played it, i got mabey a week and a half of sleep total.

I am best with rogues and druids. nothing else seems to catch my attention

I DO I DO!!!, I LOVE that game lol, been playing since Jan of 2005, That game to me is not terrible its actually very fun imo. 19,000 pvp kills, lvl 85 mage 10,000 gear score and working on getting better lol, Detheroc server (yah I know, dead server but been with it for years, should move her but dont want to spend the 25 bucks but getting close to doing it lol.

Also I was addicted to that game at one point in time, I had no idea something can be so addicting lol, talk about a fit when I couldnt play but I was able to ease myself off and slow my playing time, what sucks is my main computer is broken and I cant play and every now and then i get images of Goldshire (I love the newbie zone) or killing horde and the urge comes right back lol.

On the Detheroc server they are so damn good in the battlegrounds makes me hate them more!, but I have bad memories of early WoW days when the battlegrounds didn't exist and they would just hunt STV, man it took me forever to get those quests done lol. *Cry, I wanna play now* lol

I played wow from launch up until the first expansion. I played a undead warlock and all I ever did was run around killing other people. Something about the Drakedog videos on wcm.com I literally could not stop seduce --> soulfireing people for at least a year after I got the game. After killing players all over for about an hour I would start running into these packs of players who I'd killed earlier, this is when the real fun began!

I miss the old wow so much.

Anyway finally got sick of paying for it and figured out there are tons of private servers out there that don't require you to pay at all, but I gave it up anyway to get my life back on track and all that. I was to the point I could not stop playing the game, every single day I was playing for 6 or more hours and it was tearing me apart socially and physically (just feel so weak).

I've now grown completely away from wow and just the thought of installing it again makes me cringe. Now I enjoy skateboarding and other physical activities as well as hanging out with REAL friends, and occasionally get down on some Starcraft 2. Probably the most satisfying game to win and it really gets adrenaline pumping which adds a whole new level of awesomeness to a game. If you guys haven't picked this out up already it really is an amazing game especially if you're into the PvP aspect of games like I am.

So yeah if you were playing on bleeding hollow server during vanilla wow, chances are you were probably killed multiple times and possibly camped by my undead warlock, Fakedog. RIP

PS: I'm not sorry.

HAHA lol, your not sorry, I bet you just sat on our dead alliance bodies too, and made us stand there and pray you would get bored and move outta the way for a split second so we can rez and RUN!! lol,

Its horde like you that got me my kill on sight list going and when I hit the time I knew I can get ya then I would get my revenge lol, but I do miss the early wow before the battlegrounds and how its much more easier now for people to lvl, but I still love it!

I also got hooked like that too in the beginning and couldn't stop playing, once I went on at 11 at night and didn't stop until the sun came out, that's when I realized it was time to stop for a while, I quit during burning crusade and went back on not long before the lich king expansion.

Haha yes, I was exactly that guy. I was never really open on forums or anything during that time, but I know there must of been hundreds screaming and crying on there because all I did was gank everyone. They had to be because everytime I did eventually die, Id run back only to be greeted by multiple alliance mounted staring at my corpse..."lunch time" xD

Sometimes if I came across a enemy who I thought had better gear than me I'd fake him out by just running past him "just passing by" . Then I'd run till he couldn't see me then I'd sneak back up on him like behind a tree or building or something and wait for that bastard to pull some mobs and jump his ass!! Good times

By the time the expansions were being announced I was already extremely bored with the game "mostly due to battleground grind for pvp gear. -_- If blizzard would of just left the damn game alone, and made pvp zones instead of instanced pvp.. Could of been a great game in my eyes. There is just something about queing up for a battleground that gets me, I like to be playing on that "unknown ground" In BG people know what there getting into and it makes it less fun.

OMG yeah I totally miss the pvp zones, that made the game so fun, the hours I would spend in booty bay waiting for horde lol, and when they would show up it was hours of fun, then the instance pvp, oh man I remember that, there would be what seemed like hundreds of us just waiting in arathi basin to get to go in. Now you just go to a pvp npc and queue that way, it goes pretty fast now since its cross realm but gone are the days of hiding, ganking, getting groups together and taking over horde Territory, But I think some still do but its hard to find. I also miss the ranking days, when they would put your name on the website I got to knight and got second on there but then they got rid of that too, it would be nice if they can make a vanilla server, I would go on that and get my tier 3 gear and hit lvl 60 do a 20 man raid in ZG even if it took forever if someone quit and one of us would have to go to IF and hunt down a healer but hey to me that was fun. lol

Retail wow is pretty bad atm and I don't think the pandas blizz has on the way can redeem it.
Are you tired of seeing baddies in gear you know they don't deserve?
Are you tired of mindlessly spamming the dungeon finder only to run a 5 man with 4 unsociable strangers?
Are you tired of giving Actiblizzard your hard earned money for a rehash of a 1.12 boss and a new pet?
Are you ready too mindlessly down deathwing for the next 6 months until next xpac?
Are you ready to admit that blizzard has abandoned wow for titan and will continue to let it die?
I can go on and on but instead i'll post this.

Been playing since 2005 & you only have 19k pvp kills? I guess you weren't into pvp when they first introduced the pvp honor system and battlegrounds.

lol Im a chick and I spent a LOT of time farming for treasures and sitting in IF chatting up a storm and working on my tailoring, seriously I really got into exploring that game, when I hit 60 all I did was farm places and kill npcs for rare drops, (found that rare elixer of dream potion recipe, I still make a mint of off that) but not to mention I quit for a year, I was into pvp, got second on their pvp rank page once..once lol, 19,000 pvp kills is a lot for me lmao. Im proud of my knight status.
