Man Arrested After Sexual Assault at 'Occupy Philadelphia'

A woman protester at the "Occupy Philadelphia" demonstration was raped in a tent, allegedly by a man who had traveled from out of state to join the protest, police said

The alleged rapist is reported to have been arrested multiple times in connection with a string of armed robberies in Kalamazoo, Michigan, officials said.

I thought the idea about breaking news on ATS was to give a snippet and some opinion. Not to tag on your own lies and obvious blind hatred.

I don't hate the story. I hate the spin. Is using subversive and childish tactics taught by Fox News? It's like you're reading straight from the Fox News "Fair and Balanced" Playbook.

I hate that every single act that occurs at or near an OWS area is spun into an attempt by you and your ilk to paint the entire movement in that light. Do you have any criminals in your neighborhood, Sheeple? Because the guy down the street is a pedophile should we assume you are the same?

No, the terrible part is OWS facilitated the attack of this woman and the OWS supporters attack anyone who sheds light on these facts. That right there is evidence of the OWS hate for her because in their theology, the greater good of the collective comes first over her rights.
The underlying horrible truth is that for every one of her, there are untold numbers who are being silenced by the absurd policy of their socalled self policing.

I am not making excuses for the rapist....if he did rape her...he was wrong...and needs to be punished. Did you not read the first line of my original post. If he is guilty....there is no good reason for him to have raped her.

However....she was foolish...that is a fact.....but her foolishness certainly does not excuse him for his wrong actions.

Yea stay away from these occupy encampments rape happens there oh and also cities.....and towns.....and.....and villages.......and...well you know anywhere people are.

Rape happens on deserted streets. Rape happens at county fairs and house parties and in workplaces and jail cells. It happens in parks and underground parkades.

It is a crime of pathetic cowards.

You postulated on her naive nature without ever knowing if that was the case at all. I could just as easily postulate that she was forced to bunk with a complete male stranger and she had no idea of the arrangement until it was too late.
