My memory is running slow, does anyone know a free software i can download where i can free up my memory? a free software, none of the trail versions.

I'm guessing you're running Microsoft Windows?

CachemanXP is good.... This is what I use.
I think it only works on Windows XP though.

Or a better way... Just add more physical memory. It's very cheap these days.

FREEWARE IS THE BEST. I used to have the same problem with my old desktop (XP Pro w/256MB RAM). I use Free Ram Optimizer XP to do the job... www.voodoofiles.com...

I no longer use Free Ram Optimizer XP (I got a new computer with 1GB of RDRAM), but I found it very useful.

If you DO NOT HAVE Windows XP, you can use MPower. I also used this when I had Windows 98. It works in very much the same way as FRO XP. Here's the link... www.pcworld.com...

For users of Linux... I do not know of any programs. But then, Linux handles memory much much better than Windows anyway, and runs on less - so you should never have problems
