Dizzines While Praying

Well Today Was My First Ever Time To Pray And Suddenly I Feltt Really Dizzy And Felt Really Weird I Honestly Cant Describe What Else I Felt I Dont Have Any Medical Conditions But I Was Just Interested If Anyone Else Had Felt This I Wasnt Sure Where To Post This Incase This Is The Wrong PLace

Did you feel like your limbs were sort of empty and light?

What position were you in? (on your knees, standing, cross legged.......)

Get your blood pressure checked. Because honestly, (and without trying to be insulting), talking to imaginary friends shouldnt cause this, seriously.

It may be blood pressure related so get it checked.

Let your intuition guide you, I asked this because the firs time I tried to meditate, I felt all empty and light. It didnt last haha but apparently many people experience this the first time they engage in this.

You can go see a doctor if you feel this more though.

Were you practicing to be a Whirling Dervish? Their religious practices can certainly cause some dizziness.

Seriously though....Like meditation, Prayer can cause altered states of consciousness....especially if you prayed for a very long time, or performed a repeated phrase (like a mantra) over and over.....Though I suppose such an altered state could make one feel a bit light headed.

To Me Jesus Is The Lord And The Son Of God I Need To Research More Though But After That It Shocked Me Alot My Mum Is A Catholic But The Site I Was On Was For Christains

I was just thinking the other day how much I could have gained if I was meditating in highschool and earlier. (I think prayer and meditation are the same).Dont be discouraged by the ups and downs some days or weeks you might feel nothing, then boom this experience of light interconnectedness will penetrate and grow and grow.

dizziness can be the result of a few things.
If it persists go to a physician and get a check up.
Much more accurate and reliable than inquiring on an internet forum.
There is no way to make a proper diagnosis without a proper and thorough physical examination of a patient. Wouldnt even risk making a guess without conducting an examination.
