This is the kind of stuff that really makes me mad. There are numerous reports coming out of Egypt that a major archaeological discovery was uncovered and that the fabled Hall of Records might have been located. Of course, the Egyptian Government along with former head of Antiquities Zahi Hawass are completely denying the discovery. This should come as no shock considering that the caves that were discovered years ago running all over the Giza plateau underground were also denied until photos surfaced of them and both Hawass and Egypt's government had no choice but to admit that they were found. It will probably take something like that to happen again before we finally find out about this discovery. The following article discusses the discovery of the Hall and how it is being covered up. What do you think about this discovery?

I agree there is much information withheld, or at least delayed.

A year ago or maybe even a little longer, i did see a report/documentary/newsflash.. not sure..

But it was about a team excavating under a (previous?) river, they had use pumps and water diversions, and they were looking for the Hall of Records, and even discovered already promising structures..

I never was able to find it again. Sounds familiar to anyone?

None of the knowledge from ancient and antideluvian times was ever lost. It has always been held by the mystery schools. In Ancient Egypt it was the priedtly caste that jealously guarded what you would call technology. Nothing has changed.

WOW. This is big news (if it's genuine). I thought Zahi had been sacked for corruption recently. I hope he's not back on the scene as he is a complete tosser.

If the hall of records is opened it means we are living in the latter days.. Thats what Edward Cayce reckons anyway..

Ancient Egypt has always been a passion of mine. This is great news if it's true and I hope they release the information. If they wait as long it took them to release the Nag Hammadi, then it will be our grandchildren or great grandchildren before it comes out! Sad but true

Does anyone really think the Egyptian government would freely release this information without first looking through it for years to come! Our government would do this too in the same situation. No suprise here albeit disappointing.

Very intriguing headline - and a subject of great interest to me. Unfortunately the linked reference appears to be a thread on a community board very much like ATS, and within that thread there are no sources linked or referenced which back up the claim.

So a thread is written (on other site) with no sources regarding "rumors" of this great find, and this thread uses that as its only source. *facepalm*

Very disappointing.

the archeology coverup is real

Islamic religious forces all over the middle east have blocked access to ancient sites

they have fences and guard towers around them! soo once again it's not a conspiracy theory it's a conspiracy fact

saw all this on DC show Naked Archeologist

I noticed the link goes to a report dated :May 5, 2011..

However, by chance I spoke to an Egyptologist here in Egypt just three weeks ago who confirmed to me that there is indeed, a large chamber underneath the Spinx since they have been inside it personally. Details were scant but access to it was via a make-shift cradle that is lowered down into this chamber. As I suspected, this chamber was empty when they explored it except for some hieroglyphics on the walls. There are passageways leading in different directions but were all blocked and will require extensive work to re-open them up again.

One more snippet of info. Apparently there should be two Spinx's, not one. Finding the site of the other one (now destroyed) could be significant.

Make of it what you will. But I'm now 100% convinced that there is definitely a chamber beneath the Spinx that has always been suspected but denied. That's all I have for now.

Yes well, I'm pretty sure everyone suspected they'd be somewhere else...How often in Egypt's history have the had the good stuff just hangin out in the open. Never, I'm sure they got a few secret passeges, maybe some traps, and definitley more then a few dead ends...However, the fact that there is even a space underneath the foot is enough for me to want full on up to date disclosure, but I guess it'll have to wait till they feel like sharing their secrets.

This travesty has been going on for some time now.

The discovery coincided with the erection of the huge wall and fence that has been placed around the whole area, effectively sealing the whole of the Giza plateau off from the public, even though the locals could come and go as they pleased all over the area.

They started digging near to the sphinx, between it's front paws i recall, and there is images around the net of the excavation last year.

A huge trench was dug and a shaft dug down below this trench. This is after National Geographic used sonar and ground penetrating radar to scan the area some years back and discovered what looked to be a large, buried and hidden (obviously) chamber beneath the Sphinx, but were denied permission to dig.

On the 'Dream Stella', the large, carved tablet covered in images and glyphs found between the Sphinx's front paws, shows the Sphinx on top of a huge, multi levelled chambers.

The text on the same tablet, states that the founder of Ancient Egypt (apologies, can't remember the 'god's' name) was buried in this exact spot. This reads as though the 'god' had equipment resembling what we'd think of as modern technology, so the thinking (from certain quarters) is that an ET, stranded here or not, helped to establish a highly advanced civilisation in Egypt and taught the people of the era of the Gods from the stars.

If they are bringing up 20,000 year old advanced technology (more advanced than we have now), it's no surprise they are hiding what they're doing.

TPTB won't even acknowledge they exist now, let alone shaped our species' progress from barbarian to civilised humans millennia ago!

It's all wrong...whatever they have found under that sand, belongs to all of us, the whole of humanity, if only from an intellectual point of view.

According to Cayce there would be another Akashic hall of records found from Atlantis.
Interesting times!
Maybe something in our past can save us from the ugly future we're all staring at right now - like free energy?

If what I've read in the past is true, the hall of records dwarfed the library at Alexandria. And it has records that were very ancient then, let alone now. So it may take them years to translate even a portion of what's there. Not that I think we will be made privy to any of it. But it would be nice to be the proverbial fly on the wall for this one.

Isn't it funny how conflicts and death seem to coincide with discoveries like these. Usually creating a situation where the area cannot be safely accessed by anyone from a reputable school. And then in the 6 months or several years that the place is kept out of circulation miraculously whatever is discovered is carted off by god knows who and hidden from the general populace.

I don't know what if anything there is left to discover but I'd like some transparency for once.

If this is true, you can just bet your life that TPTB will go through every piece of knowledge contained within, and censor it.

We'll just get to know however much 'they' decide we should know.

how trusted is this socyberty website source?

is it just at a glance a site with no clear authority or listed credentials. Just a series of articles published by unknown authors?

how come know one is questioning that? who is mitchy179 and should we trust him?

There have been numerous discoveries in recent years in various. Arab states confirming biblical accounts of different bible stories. These finds have been suppressed because they bring into question the validity of the Koran. My point is this is probably why the hall of records is not being shown to the public as of now so the authorities can remove any information which would bring lite to Bible stories.
