Ghost caught on tape during radiation leak testing in old Japan WWII tunnels

If you like ghost footage, these seems like a pretty good piece of footage. I say "seems" because I guess we will never really know for sure. This video was posted in March of 2011. I didnt find it in a search under the title name, so apologizes if it has been posted. I don't recall seeing it though.

This is part of the description:

An incredible ghost apparition was caught on tape this week during a visit to old WWII tunnels in the mountains of Japan. The camera started to go crazy and was malfunctioning at the lower level of the tunnels. Strange EVP's ( Electronic voice phenomenon ) were caught on tape during the filming. If you listen very closely, you can hear a voice saying "closer" , a couple of times during the video. These tunnels are not open to the public . This week a small group of engineers were sent into these old WWII tunnels to test radiation levels. The tunnels are several miles away from the leaking reactors. The deepest part of the tunnel is approx 1500 ft into the ground and can be reached via several steps and wooden slides leading to the bottom. These tunnels were used for mining purposes before Japan used them for WWII purposes.

There also seem to be a couple other EVPS, if you listen closely. The marks to listen for them are mentioned on the video itself.

The apparition is pretty clear considering and I thought it deserved a look from the ATS ghost fans anyway.

If there doing "radiation leak testing" wouldn't they be in radiation suits to anticipate a "real" high radiation leak?
Why does the video glitch a few times before the "ghost" appearance? Interesting video none the less.

If they are using cassette tapes for the surveillance, then this could literally be a ghost video layer from improper erasure of previous surveillance footage. That's all I got in my arsenal to debunk it.

I remember seeing that a few months ago.
I think it's an impressive fake.
no radiation suits, the camera happens to 'glitch'.
and if you were really radiation testing why would you be concerned with shooting a video?

were they mutes? I got to a point in the video and wondered why no one spoke.

If that is how you feel, then I think it would be wonderful for you to teach us just what is so lame about the attempt so we wont fall for it in any future viewings. I always love to learn, that is why I bring them here.
To teach and share ones knowledge is a beautiful thing. To condescend because one believes they may have superior knowledge is kind of rude and insulting.

This isnt to say I believed it, but I do think it is a good one to learn from, and as of yet, I haven't heard any reason as to why it ISNT real either.

If you feel insulted because someone may have more experience with something than you have, then that's an ego issue on your end not mine.
The reception glitches are not genuine, the ghost looks like plain Jane ghost layer editing, the camera all of a sudden becomes stabilized as they *gasp* at it, there are a lot of unnatural looks to this video.

# 1 sign its a fake, obvious intentional video disturbance! I really wish someday they can actually catch a REAL apparition on video to make me a believer!

Thanks for that, I didn't look into it that much, just thought it was better looking than the OP video.

Fake cam gliches to cover editing I expect.

Fake intake of breath supposedly in shock

Fake radiation danger I suppose to explain why the figure is visible

Faked usual walk in and out of shot to limit the special effect

Other than that I am convinced

Looks like an episode of Lost Tapes. Not a convincing video at all.
