A few nights ago Scott Campbell walked a line ( about 15ft away from) in front of riot police asking if it was ok for him to film. He was answered
with a rubber/plastic bullet. No verbal answer was ever given, no warning issued. Just a shot.
Meanwhile, in war zones, soldiers still beg for pieces of armor. Here within our borders, our police have riot gear. Great they should be protected,
they put their lives on the line to protect us and catch the bad guys. My only questions; Why isn't this gear used to raid abandoned houses where all
kinds of illegal activity takes place? Why isn't it used to round up street gangs?
Meanwhile, children can't walk down their neighborhood streets in the ghettos of America, they can't go to their playgrounds, talk about
inconvenience. Where's the police lining those streets in riot gear? Ahhh, because there's a bigger threat, people are protesting and Joe Wallstreet
is afraid to walk past to get a cup of coffee.
