Bush's Plans for the next 4 years

Before I can make an educated argument on why Bush is good or bad i must first consult the experts which in this case will be all the wise people of ATS. I wish to gain knowledge on what Bush plans to do in the next few years I have watched the RNC but they just keep contradicting themselves and I get dizzy after so many paradoxes. I am well aware that on ATS there are many experts on a wide range of subjects so I would therefore like to ask them what the presidents plan will be for the next four years on the following things.
-War on Terror
- are we going to have a draft becuase in my opinion we already have a type of draft we just dont want to call the bull by its name.
- are we going to invade N.Korea or Lybia or other countries of the Axis of evil. We dont have enough troops which might cause a draft.
- Patriot Act good or bad?
- What about domestic terrorism only 5% of boats coming into the US get inspected but yet we are worried about a nuclear war which is the most possible access for terrorism.

I will post other thoughts or questions if i see people are actually paying attention or care in general i would like someone to draw me a picture of what the next 4 years with bush will be like

Does any one know what Bush is going to do about retirement plans for Baby Boomers because a good portion of them wills tart retiring in the next four years and Baby Boomers dont really like to cut back on anything so they arnt going to like it when Bush cuts their retirement benefits and everything just to help pay for the war.

A draft in my opinion is when the government forces people to go to war even when they dont want to. In my opinion i think that the way the army makes the time a person in the army stay inlisted is a type of draft the people that are having to serve for another year when they should already be home this is why i think its already a type of draft but hey i may be wrong and my logic may be flawed please post your opinion

No, it isn't like a draft. im not sure about the army; but when i signed for the marines for a FOUR-YEAR CONTRACT, they VERY CLEARLY explained I might end up servering up to EIGHT years. It is written in black and white on every active duty USMC enlistee contract for four years. You may have to serve up to, but not exceeding an addition four years. You get your four year active duty done, and you are on an inactive reserve list for the next four years. If we lack man-power (or woman-power), inactive reserve units can be assembled and activated; or you can just be kept into service as needed.

Like I said, no four year contracts. Four AD + Four IRR. IRR is NOT the same as being a reservist. Reserve units exist and they train monthly and in the summer; inactive reserve ready units do not do this. You can literally be out of the military for 2 years, have no contact with the military, and be called to serve the rest of your 2 years.

The men and women and MEPS make it VERY clear when you sign.

In my opinion, not a bad deal at all, as the marines is paying for my college education, and im getting off on the very best foot for my PhD Psychology. A small service to your nation, for many many benifits.

Do not pity or feel bad for the whiners who joined only for the college benifits. They knew EXACTLY what they were getting into when they signed, and they KNEW they may have to serve. People see all this college money in front of them and get very excited. They are soldiers, they have orders, they have no choice.

Everyone who signs knows this, and those who signed for the wrong reasons really show through in these times.
