I was forced to watch this, It's bull. It's basically visualization but they call it the secret and kaboom they make millions in book and dvd sales.

is that all youre gonna tell us? i dont think i will watch an 1h 30m vid from your post.

You were "forced" to watch it, so what your saying is you didn't want to watch it in the first place, so obviously you weren't paying attention. So why would anyone want your opinion of something you didn't pay attention to?

It's hard to find this specific topic on ATS when you are doing a search for "the secret", which are 2 words in about 50% of the threads in here. Always something secret being posted about.

In all honesty, there is some truth to the fact that it made millions wrapping up an idea that has been in use for millenia. I think what made it attractive was its motivation towards material goods. I cant remember much of this but I saw it a long time ago and remember it being very focussed on me me me what I want. I am going to try and watch some of it again see if I get a different vibe.

I know what your talking about, and it did talk about material goods quite a bit, but it also had a very profound and positive message that is worth the time.

I did pay attention to it, it was started by the Egyptians supposedly, and hidden by the elite because they wanted to keep it secret to reap all the rewards and not share the so called power of the secret.

Like I said it's just visualization, just imagining something you want and you will get it through sheer will power alone. And although some visualization will work it's not a miracle as you can probably testify to yourself. Your not going to win the lottery no matter how much you dream about it.
