it's showing 3h40m til the next show, so the asteroid probably stopped for a coke and a mouldy sandwich

although this site says 1h6m

Never got a reply back but this is the latest from their twitter page :

Slooh SLOOH Space Camera
Asteroid show #2 will begin at 6:00 PM PST - 02:00 UTC - we are pulling a feed from AZ - Also, we may have Dr. McMillan back as a guest.

It doesnt make any sense though... I thought the closest approach to earth will be in 30 minutes

Why would they air something in three hours from now ?

My guess is probably that it will pass close to the Earth in 30 minutes or so BUT their cameras will not be able to capture the asteroid till 6pm from where they are. That or they need to fire their "experts" cause they are contradicting the time that NASA is stating.

A city could be toast by 6pm !

Per AsteroidWatch Twitter Page :

www.ustream.tv...

Another place to watch live right now. !

Also for those that were wondering someone asked them on twitter :

@AsteroidWatch how can it be live in 3hrs when GMT it passes at 23:28 doesnt seem right?

They responded:

@Pekalton live stream is over for now. they'll use a different telescope in about 3 hours (watch the countdown clock on right side).

Just watched the first approach. More of a live animation... Anyway, it might just be me, but that did not look like it was ABOVE the elliptical. IS it just me?
