A series of events could turn a small asteroid impact into an E.L.E

Lets say that Asteroid Yu55 DOES infact hit the earth, as proposed here:YU55 Closer than JPL Indicates and lets say it hit directly on LAND or even shallow water.
Possable Earthquakes, resulting in triggerd quakes sourrounding area, ripple effect, world wide quakes.

Ok so some people may not know this, but as we speak, there is a Mother of a Sunspot almost facing our way, Sunspot 1339 - few more days puts us in its path.

The largest sunspots since 2005 are now visible from the Earth. These huge sunspots have been slowly rotating to face the Earth since November 3, 2011. The largest of these sunspots, Sunspot AR 1339, is said to be 17 times the Earth’s width. This region of the Sun has caused massive solar flares which can trigger radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. The Solar Dynamics Observatory team even called Active Region 1339 a “Bad Boy” causing a solar flare reaching X1.9 at 20:27 UTC on the 3rd

This pic clearly shows the Active region.

A massive solar flare could knock out electric power for months

Solar flares strongly influence the local space weather in the vicinity of the Earth. They can produce streams of highly energetic particles in the solar wind, known as a solar proton event, or "coronal mass ejection" (CME). These particles can impact the Earth's magnetosphere and present radiation hazards.
Energetic protons can pass through the human body, causing biochemical damage.
The soft X-ray flux of X class flares increases the ionization of the upper atmosphere, which can interfere with short-wave radio communication.

Even tho many have stated the fact that IF Yu55 hit, it WOULDNT be great enough impact to cause an E.L.E
Take into account variable probability an X+5class solar flare was realeased from this giant a day or two after or even the day said asteroids impacts, any areas affected by Yu55, be it by earthquakes or even Tsunamis, then to have all power grids go down, all communication lost, PLUS radiation raining down, kinda makes it sound a little more worrying.

With all these events supposed to happen in a few days, I wouldnt be suprised if we actually get a massive solar flare headed our way, just to rub it in... Thoughts?

And lets say that comet Elenin hasnt really started on its way out of the solar system, but was just hiding behind Venus and will come back to hit us on 11/11/11.
And also lets say that this triggers the caldera under yellowstone national park to blow.
And also lets say that the supposed alien spaceships behind comet Elenin were real, and they invade while we're reeling from this other disasters.

What then?

And let's say that rabid rabies monkeys start falling from the sky.
Then the andromedan council shows up above all major cities and declare galatic law.
While all this is going on, the west wing of the white house crumbles revealing a portal to a parallel universe.

I'll stop there.
Oh my. And all to happen in just 3 days!!!????

Life is full of ”what ifs”.
If we spent our entire lives worrying about them we'd never have time to actually live.
Life is too short to spend it wallowing in the fear of what may be.

I somehow doubt YU55 will hit, however what I wanted to say is that you are 'dooming' about the sunspot 11339 without being in possession of the facts.

Solar Terrestrial Activity Report

Virtually all sites take absolutely no account of the polarity of the sun spots and jump up and down because a sun spot is large. On the above site scroll down to the image of the sun which shows the positive and negative elements of the surface.

Note that by far the larger portion of the sunspot 11339 is negative which potentially reduces the likelihood of solar flares due to the reduced flux.

A little about negative sunspots can be found here How to survive 2012

We watch the opposite on the Southern Hemisphere. This is not the only anomaly. Also the Flux readings are lower then normal when they are on the sun. Normally the Flux levels are a good general indicator of solar activity, but it has been observed that the F10.7 Flux levels have actually decreased while the Negative Sunspots have appeared and grown.

To learn more about how to properly count sunspots you should take a look at Landscheidt Cycles Research: Layman's Sunspot Count

October Update: LSC 58.9, SIDC 88.0, NOAA unadjusted 123.5 (prov). SIDC for the 7th straight month over counting compared with NOAA. October keeping up the momentum experienced in September with the F10.7 flux values also showing a flat trend. The speck counting during October becoming even more apparent with the modern count being not even close when comparing with the Wolf method. SIDC this month counting a single unipolar spot with a non Waldmeier value of 4 (plus 10) on three occasions. 4th, 13th & 20th.

Most other people count sunspots that do not even qualify under their own definitions as the scientists are desperate to prove this is a scary Solar Maximum - it is not, nor will it be.
