Newcomers to the Occult often do not have the necessary scope of experience to appreciate that there is an end to it, it is just a big pile of texts.

Thank you for your positive reactions. First i would say that it may take me a while to give up much information about myself. One reason for this is what I see happening as a result of the topic of this thread, and what it means for the human race (if that even exists any longer), or more particularly, to the individual sentient being with unique experiences and reactions to them--as that is what informs the who of our selves. There is much about singularity I find repugnant and rebel against, whether it is real or has already occurred. It may, in fact, be used to pillage and plunder identities, to appear to solve a problem by pointing to something that is not, in fact, responsible, in order to not solve the problem but make more of the problem, and keep that repetition ongoing and multiplying by never identifying the true source of said problem.
I was very interested to see your inclusion of algorithms in this thread. There is interesting information out there, as well, about neural nets and frameworks and the use of algorithms. Can't put my finger on it at the moment to give a link--I will do some searching and return with some links--but I was reading on this a few days ago, and came across some papers which looked interesting but required me to purchase them in order to download and read, which I wasn't prepared to do. One was an algorithm having to do with neural nets and memory, and applying this to human memory. This subject, also, would have many implications for DARPA's intent within the scope of it's narratives investigations and how this research may be utilized as a control mechanism.
My relationship and association with occult knowledge has been ongoing as a result of experiences I had no choice nor control over. I have to believe one of the reasons for this, no matter how painful, was because I am exactly, by nature, how you have described me. Others, subjected to the same, do not react the same.
Anyway, I will gladly look for yours and the others here participating, threads in the future, and have great interest in the topics you all speak of with knowledge.

And what about this, in relationship to hacking the narratives....is this the level at which the hacking is occurring and what is providing, perhaps, the technological singularity, sold as new age oneness, but is simply the occupying of everyone and everything's brain, to produce the above mentioned singularity, and then apply it to disappearing anything of a different nature?

Soul Catcher 2025 As long ago as 1995 British Telecom announced it was developing a memory chip designed to capture a person’s entire lifetime’s experiences. Implanted behind the eye, BT said, the chip would record the person’s thoughts, feelings and memories and store them in digital form. BT confirmed the chip would be ready for use by the year 2025, hence the name: Soul Catcher 2025. Myth is the dream of the people – the dream is the myth of `the individual.

Narrative is the primary catalyst for personal transformation.

Will the call to embody an individual narrative always assert itself in the face of efforts to culture a narrative singularity? If so, huzzah.

Further, The Transformation of the Hero through narrative is primarily a biochemical shift. Most of the hero figures commonly identified with today (Neo, V, Chuck Norris) have themselves undergone alteration of an explicitly neurochemical nature. Which strikes me once again as narrative anticipating science.

I am on an iPad, and there is currently no version of flash for it. But I will stick around, and thanks for the explanation, and I will reread the book. Prhaps DARPA hit me with the stupid stick after hacking my memory, LOL, as I tend to forget books I read long ago, which from what you said, you expected that. Someone asked me "Are you one of those "Conspiracy" people" when I was explaining how certain social networking sites are designed to monitor your desires and thoughts and are really just complicated marketing tools that will be used to focus propaganda. I said that I was indeed one of those people and if they actually paid attention they might consider joining me.

IT is complicated and beautiful chess game where you are playing for your free will and the odds are stacked against you because your are playing with only pawns...

The ultimate form a psychological warfare. One that has an escalation in which some become chameleons capable of living in the delusion while controlling their own narrative.

The other possibility is for a cooperative narrative, which requires some common elements for people to share. I would argue that we don't have this in the First World and that which we do have is under the auspices of Hollywood. Who are truly not good guardians as a new priestly class.

I'll note here that the people that seem to grok this on some level seem to have educated themselves on the stories of peoples.

Which suggests perhaps that in controlling stories and prodding people's want to engage in informational transactions with media may actually activate more people to become addicted to information in a way that eventually undermines the entire process. They *need* to look for more.

Your pot brought me some mental gymnastics and I'm not entirely sure I comprehend what it is you're saying here.

I did begin to wonder when you use grok if it is possible that those who have given themselves fully to allow their narrative be told to them by the new guardians actually grok nothing. The implication here is that they have relinquished their godhood and fully given themselves over.

All that groks is god, when you stop trying you are trading your godhood for a good narrative.

On an interesting side note I recall years ago grok would always show up as a spelling error and Google spellcheck recognizes it as a word now. Very cool.

I am wondering if I looked in the mirror right now if what I would see looking back at me would be the visage of a lab rat, contained in an invisible maze.........
