So did I, funny how a story, not even established, brings out all those with political, religious mindsets with a penchant to be ahead of the game in all aspects. I like a good story myself, I also contemplate the idea of aliens having visited Earth or even being here now. But this story taking it in the context given does not work. Perpetuated maybe it could be true, but the idea given at the end that the ultimate goal is disclosure, as desired by both governments and aliens just contradicts everything said previous. What would happen for instance, after 'disclosure', aliens then asking to 'borrow' some of us? It makes no sense.

It's funny that people assume that IF aliens were out there/here that they would all be following the same agenda. Not talking about multiple races of aliens, just a single race - why would they be so unified in their actions? More than likely they would have various factions wanting different foreign relations. I bet they're all arguing if they should or shouldn't just invade us, kill us or ignore us.

My money says this story is the usual bunk, but just as long as they're not looking for some kind of intergalactic bailout deal, I'm ready if they are.

I had a very strange dream last night, which ironically coincides with this post. I was dreaming about the meteor thats supposed to pass by today, and have known of the nationwide test tomorrow on the 9th, and know of the problems stiring up in Iran. Ive always assumed that this test was going to be for either a catastrophe with the meteor or something to do with attacking Iran. In the dream i see the meteor and then I see Obama on the nationwide test, but he talk of neither. In my dream he talks of the existence of ET's and how they have always been here. And then i see myself sleeping in my bed and i see some ET's around me. I try to wake up but I cant move, seems like it takes minutes for me just to be able to open my eyes from my sleep, like im awake but cant open my eyes. after finally being able to open my eyes i cant move my legs, but eventually I can. Scared the # out of me to be honest. Im 28, i can remember 1 other time i had the same sensation when i was 18ish but not being able to move when i woke up from a dream. I know there is something like sleep paralysis, but just felt so wierd after i got up like someone was watching me, had to go get my dogs and close them in the room with me just to get to sleep again. Super super odd to me that i dream this with a totaly different out come than i expected and then i see this thread on the home page when i visit this site today.

Sounds like you have just miss-mashed various sources of info into a story already told many, many times before.

Whoever gave this tosh flags and stars, please leave ATS and never darken it's boards again.

The interesting part about all religions is that they are almost always the same metaphors told in different ways.. Pandoras Box, Eve and the Apple, Allah, God. Really just the same story... which will hopefully have a new chapter added AFTER disclosurer =]

Throughout my own personal research and experiences, I have noticed a few common themes with these so-called "whistleblowers." Generally this idea of an "agreement" between ET species and our own. Although an interesting notion, I have formed my own theory of how these theories and ideas all correlate.

a. Even the most skeptical person of minor intelligence accepts the fact that the planet Earth is merely a tiny rock surrounded by an infinite ocean of chaos and the unknown. Simply put, its basically impossible for us to be the only planet harboring intelligent life forms when every element that makes us and our surroundings is from space itself.

b. Why would any race of beings advanced enough to master interstellar travel even consider "negotiating" with us? There could be an infinite amount of other intelligent life forms out there, some benevolent, some malevolent, and some maybe so far ahead that we wouldnt even interest them. Every culture has tales of "flying things" "strange lights in the sky" and "gods that descended from the heavens." It could be as simple as trying to negotiate with a colony of ants that are invading your kitchen, metaphorically speaking.

c. Just as there have been high powered whistle blowers that speak of sinister dealings between ET's and mankind, there have also been high powered and well respected men and women who claim that world powers are running out of enemies, and the next majotr war will be one of an intergalactic theme.

d. Look around you, this whole place is falling apart. There are riots and protests, revolutions, dictators being overthrown, and general world wide discontent of epic proportions. The stock markets and economies are like freight trains heading striaght off a cliff and into a house of cards. It would appear that TPTB are losing their grasp, the jigg is up so to speak.

So I ask you this, if alien spacecrafts suddenly appeared over all the major cities, such as the Hollywood movies, and TV shows portray, would you honestly believe it was ET's coming to enslave the planet? Or perhaps a more believable option of the world governments puling the biggest ruse in the history of mankind to bring us to our knees, and cry out for our governments to all unite in protection, plead for more defense spending, and freely give up the last of our rights in the beliefs that it will save us......

Guess what, aliens aren't humans.
Maybe they have none of the emotions and the need to conquer and destroy. No greed no jealously. Thats why they are higher beings.

Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.

The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public's eye.

However, that doesn't mean the subject of life outside our planet isn't being discussed or explored. In fact, there are a number of projects working toward the goal of understanding if life can or does exist off Earth. Here are a few examples:

SETI—the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence—was originally stood up with help from NASA, but has since been moved to other sources of private funding. SETI's main purpose is to act as a giant ear on behalf of the human race, pointing an array of ground-based telescopes towards space to listen for any signal from another world.
Kepler is a NASA spacecraft in orbit that's main goal is to search for Earth-like planets. Such a planet would be located in the "Goldilocks" zone of a distant solar system—not too hot and not too cold—and could potentially be habitable by life as we know it. The Kepler mission is specifically designed to survey our region of the Milky Way galaxy to discover Earth-sized, rocky planets in or near the habitable zone of the star (sun) they orbit.
The Mars Science Laboratory, Curiosity, is an automobile-sized rover that NASA is launching soon. The rover's onboard laboratory will study rocks, soils, and other geology in an effort to detect the chemical building blocks of life (e.g., forms of carbon) on Mars and will assess what the Martian environment was like in the past to see if it could have harbored life.
A last point: Many scientists and mathematicians have looked with a statistical mindset at the question of whether life likely exists beyond Earth and have come to the conclusion that the odds are pretty high that somewhere among the trillions and trillions of stars in the universe there is a planet other than ours that is home to life.

Many have also noted, however, that the odds of us making contact with any of them—especially any intelligent ones—are extremely small, given the distances involved.

But that's all statistics and speculation. The fact is we have no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.

I don't know the OP, nor do I simply take any information as fact...without proof. However, the post by the OP is about what he "heard" and not if what was "heard" is the truth. I understand disbelief, but any attack, insult, etc. should be based upon the OP "hearing" this information. For that...I have no reason to believe that he is lying that this is what he heard. Does anyone else?

On the likelihood of the story...why is this so unbelievable that it is trashed as it has been in this thread? Sure, a "contract" probably isn't something drawn up on paper by a lawyer, and more likely another form of "agreement". Maybe even verbal. But this story is no more unlikely than many here on ATS.

So, to the OP...I would like to know if the end of this "contract" is simply a disclosure issue, or is there something more? In other words, do you get the impression "they" just want to introduce themselves, or something more like introducing themselves AND what they plan to do with us?

Wow though imagine walking into civilization level 1 with our very own space brothers and sisters...

Doesn't it almost seem right? It feels right..

We are aware of the news from the Catholic Church regarding extraterrestrial life..There's been a few and I've linked them myself..This is in fact old news..

You are wrong......Peoples Religions will in many cases be effected..No question.

But I do believe disclosure will come, forcibly or out of necessity..Within weeks or months? Not unless that's what they want..The gov. Doesn't want, and the alien races don't want or it would be a done deal.
Be glad we have gotten it yet (as hard as it is),but we've been in the dark this long..We will be fine.

I would be more on the idea that it is TPTB themselves that are becoming factionalised and split, and that there is a 'War' being carried on by these factions, which all include governments, military, media and corporatism. The shennigans of News International makes MI5 'et all, look like junior schoolboys. These factions are all power-based and steeped in Fascism...the masses don't count.

about a week ago I stated in a post that ATS members were generally pretty intelligent

I got my hopes to high for the last disclosure, not doing so for this one lol.
However maybe it will come true, that would be cool.
The other one was about someone who was "anonymous" and look how that turned out, too many similarities.
Me thinks it won't happen (again)

Is it so silly that a hugely respected person like Bill Cooper has said nearly the same thing back in the 80s? So many people are bringing up that point as a mark against my OP, but in fact it is a correlation and I believe adds weight to the report given on air.

It would be really cool if this was right but as with other people here I have heard the "Disclosure is just weeks away!" line many many times, this doesn't seem any different.

Not knocking the OP but I've heard it all before and each time it's come to nothing.
