Strange Rainbow Colored Cloud in TORONTO! NOT HARRP! *11/5/2011*

I saw some strange clouds as I was driving just north west of Toronto. Time was around 5:45pm. I kept seeing the clouds for a good 15 minutes until I had to drive in a different direction. The color in the pictures dont really show the exact rainbow type effect that I saw, which was probably because the sun was just to the left.

Anyone know what it might be? Earthquake clouds caused by HARRP?

It looks like you have a nice bright sun dog in those images.

They disperse easily when something passes through them.

Only thats not the sun in those pics. The sun is not in the picture at all. It looks like a sun but it was actually like a partial rainbow in one spot which didn't move for the 15 minutes that I kept seeing it.

I never knew they actually had a term for something like that. Thanks for clearing it up, I just found it strange that I never actually ever saw a Sun Dog before.

How does the NOT HAARP thing fit into the bit where you ask if it's HAARP?

I edited the title from "Possible HARRP to NOT HARRP" since someone explained exactly what I saw which was a Sun Dog. So yeah you may be lost
