According to recent leaks, Iran has carried out experiments in the final, critical stage for developing nuclear weapons - weaponization. This includes explosions and computer simulations of explosions. The Associated Press and other media outlets have reported that satellite photos of the site reveal a bus-sized container for conducting experiments.

Iran has been co-operating with the IAEA, as requested by the UN, over the last few years...

My question is if tomorrow when the IAEA releases their report, and if they provide pictures and evidence to the UN, will you believe them or brush it off as a "conspiracy" against Iran?

Can we believe this international organization?...

Is my memory wrong when I recall the same claims were levied against Iraq? I think my memory is quite good, despite my advancing age.

Do we really want to do this again? This is not about nukes. This is about something else altogether, being administrated by marionette puppets on behalf of Those Who Will Have Their Way.

Don't fall for this again. Don't be so stupid.

They rejected them 8 years ago and now they are going to release a report about what they think Iran is doing!?
Wow. I can't believe that.

The UN Security Council has passed five resolutions demanding that Iran halt its uranium enrichment program. In 2009, tensions over Tehran's nuclear program increased substantially when Iran revealed to the IAEA that it was constructing a second enrichment facility close to the city of Qom. [8] Negotiations to resolve the nuclear issue between the United States, Russia, France, the UK, China, Germany (P5+1) and Iran have failed to produce tangible results. As of February 2011, negotiations between the P5+1 and Iran remain stalled due to Tehran's unwillingness to discuss a suspension of its uranium enrichment program. [9] Tehran maintains that it has no interest in nuclear weapons, but that as a member of the NPT it has an inalienable right to peaceful nuclear energy. Critical parts of Iran's nuclear infrastructure include a VVER-1000 MWe light water reactor at Bushehr, a uranium conversion facility at Esfahan, enrichment facilities at Natanz, an enrichment facility under construction at Qom, a heavy water production plant, and a heavy water research reactor under construction at Arak.

From here.

ETA: It sounds like they are trying to comply with all the regulations, is there any real proof they have nuclear bomb intentions?

Excuse me for being a pessimist but I think the report will be toned down to make Iran look better than it is. I say that because China and Russia have already started objecting to releasing the report. And there is some fear that a blunt report would bring war even closer.

But even with that, the idea that Iran only wanted nuclear for peaceful purposes has pretty much been destroyed.

Iran will be more than happy for the IAEA to publish their report, more to the point does anyone expect Israel to believe this international organization.

My recollection was Hans Blix was PUSHING for US/UN to give him another year to complete the weapons inspections.. no?..

I don't recall IAEA coming out and saying "Yes, they have weapons of mass destruction". I believe that was Colin Powell and a Power Point presentation, no?..

I very well may be wrong, It was almost a decade ago.

Awaiting your reply................

Nope, that was that dolt Tony Blair who transported claims to Bush & friends. Whatever the "official story" is, that's what really happened. Take a look here for a very succinct glossing over of what they like to say happened. But I assure you, Blair thought he had good info and pressed it. That's when he and Bush became

Sure, I'd believe it.

If you run a tyrannical regime, having nuclear weapons is the ultimate veto against regime change.

In truth, it would be irrational for the state of Iran to not seek to obtain nuclear weapons.

I don't think we will be seeing anymore of the likes of Hans Blix, the man was too honest.

Regardless of the myriad IAEA reports and in total disregard of the United Nations the USA & UK invaded Iraq, the whole IAEA involvement in Iraq was nothing more than a political paper work exercise to justify their existence.

Just ten years after the very first Israeli settlers arrived in Palestine under the protection of the British Armed Forces Israels WMD program at Dimona was discovered.

Israel continues to refuse to sign the NPT yet wants military action taken against Iran whom signed the NPT way back in 68 and have to the annoyance of the Holy Trinity, given the IAEA full access to their nuclear sites, hence the report.

When are we going to see the IAEA report on Israels not so secretive nuclear arsenal that has been up and running since the mid 50's?

Totally irrelevant what any organization says now...Iran is toast!

IAEA: Iran Has Finger on Nuclear Trigger

I know this isn't on topic OP but bare with me. I read sometime ago that the IAEA were behind Area 51 being open for so long, it was a secure place where atomic weapon tests could be carried out.

There's no need to tell Iran they shouldn't have Nuclear Weapons if they have gained them by themselves. If they have more power to them (no pun intended). But when a country buys nuclear weapons from other countries that's when you know spits about to go down. I'm more concerned with Israel holding nuclear weapons with their view of being gods chosen people.

In 2003, the Iranian government made a formal diplomatic proposal for direct, comprehensive negotiations about all major issues, grievances, and conflicts that fueled the hostility in their dealings with each other. They sent a formal proposal to negotiate through the Swiss Embassy in Tehran. The memorandum explicitly recognized aims of the United States: transparent guarantees that Iran would not develop nuclear weapons; full cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency

Here is the document itself.

2003 Iran Proposal

Notes of the Swiss Ambassador who later conveyed the message to US

Washington Post Ambassador Notes

It was completely ignored. America had everything given to them. Iran would drop its development of nuclear arms. It would have CUT ALL links to Hamas. I mean it doesn't get any better than that folks, just read the this site. Click EVERY SOURCE and READ EVERYTHING.

Iran offered to recognize Israel in 2003, was ignored.

Its hard to believe it, when you realize the enemy of the world is America.

I hate reading diplomatic jargon, but this one wasn't too bad, thanks a lot for posting your sources.

You've probably noticed that the memorandum only said: These are the things we want to talk about at our meeting. It was simply the things that Iran and the US wanrted to put on the agenda.

And when you do read everything you'll see that Iran was only willing to talk about it, not drop its nuke development or support for Hamas. There was no promise. There was no hard offer. (Sometimes called buying time.)
