Hello there
Ive been a lurker of ATS for awhile now but i aint uploaded anything yet, i thought this was very interesting. The front page of the Irish Sunday World News Paper is the headline 'Tinker Raiders, Soldier, Spy. I cant make my own thread but here i can so .... the story is of how libyan freedom fighter Mahdi al-harati who lives in Co. Limerick now was robbed a few days ago by Irish travellers, they stole the usual TV's, Jewellery but found €200,000 in €500 notes in the cupboad upstairs.... upon reporting this to police Mahdi told police that the money robbed was his and was given to him by U.S secet agents for his work in Libya where he lead troops on the assault on Tripoli... I cant find a shred of this online .... maybe it is too soon as it was only out today but here is a facebook link to the photo of the cover .... i hope maybe you guys have better look finding more on it.....

Extremely interesting. An Irish Libyan in charge of Qatari forces, allegedly paid off in wads of cash by an American alphabet agency (probably MI6 too) to overthrow a foreign government. Sounds like the plot to a Tom Cancy thriller.

From what I gathered months ago, this was one of many ex-Pat Libyan "freedom" fighters paid by NATO. One arm of the Libyan "rebels" were paid $16M just to go in to one of Ghaddafi's strongholds and it does'nt stop just there. We know of Libyan born Australians who were paid to go there too.

It appeared in one of Israel's newspapers yesterday, Hizbollah (and Hamas) alleges they have sought out and now in possession of many of Ghaddafi's weaponry smuggled out by the Libyan rebels. I think many of us are not surprised and it was pretty obvious where Ghaddafi's weaponry cache was heading to. NATO did'nt lift a finger to stop it and turned a blind eye.

Hizbollah's days are numbered; it's not a matter of if but when and it will coincide with a confrontation with Iran and/or Syria.

Here's the link to the Irish paper's full story just released now of the Libyan "freedom" fighter:
