Hi i am from glasgow scotland seen a flash of light pure white light in the sky thought i imagined it two weeks ago again i seen the same flash in the sky tonight 12.15 am what is this?

Some satellites flare, as the rotate they a shiney panel relects sunlight and this is often seen as a bright flash, they are known as iridium flares. I saw one myself tonight while looking for meteors :-)
