According to Canadians, Canada's new polymer bills feature naked women, sex toys, ghosts, and Pinocchio. The Canadian Press obtained reports from Canadian focus groups screening the design of the new bills.
Ok, so does anyone else see any of these things on the new Canadian money. The link has pictures but I just don't see any of that. I think this is really a non issue but if some of you can point out where these hidden items are, maybe I'll change my mind. I just don't see it.

With our taxes I wouldn't know. I never see any bills.

Canadians thought the Double helix was sex beads?!...

I thought our education system was bad...

What are they teaching Canadians over there?

Canadians are getting dollar bills?

The article is a bit misleading. We are not getting dollar bills but are replacing paper currency with a new plastic polymer type which is supposed to last 4 times longer then conventional bills. This would put them at around a 20 year life span. They say its more expensive to print on them but won't need to be replaced every 5 years. I guess the decrease in costs they expect won't be evident for another 5 years.
The designs themselves aren't really new, we had a big overhaul on all the designs of our bills already.

Edit: And no, we still have our "Loonie" no plastic "Dollars" for us.

I'm assuming it's the $5- $1000. That's the only "notes" we have. The rest is coin.

What It Is: The shape of Canadian province of Newfoundland Labrador

What Canadians Saw:

Not Newfoundland "The shape of Newfoundland and Labrador was often mistaken for other forms, including a bird, Pinocchio and a war plane."

Did they set out to find the dumbest Canadians possible for the focus group?

Your right it is a bit misleading. You bring up a good point though. They say money is one of the things with the most germs on it. So usually they replace theses germ filled things every five years so how germy will they be in twenty years. Maybe not so bad considering they say you can wash the new bills.

Too bad, I am sure the the strippers would of been thrilled XD

Seriously though, I wonder what the polymer ones look like? Not a bad concept really. Everything is going plastic.

But in 20 years, will we still be using bills?
